• The See-It-Say-It timeout has been extended. This means users will have more time to make selections when saying “Hey Cortana, make a selection” or “Hey Cortana, select”.

• Home
• Resolved an issue which sometimes caused the "Connect to LIVE" section to not appear on Home when no network connection is detected.
• Uninstalled games and apps should no longer display in the most recently used section on Home.

• Clubs
• Fixed an issue which sometimes caused Clubs you're participating in to fail to display under "Your clubs".
• When attempting to set an image as a Club background, recently created Clubs should no longer fail to display under "Choose a Club".
• You should no longer encounter a "Something went wrong" or "That didn't work" error when attempting to access invitation requests or recommendations.

Workaround: Club notifications aren’t yet functional, and it can take a while for moderators to check for new Club invite requests. You can also try messaging the Club owner directly.

• LFG (Looking for Group)

Need to find players to help unlock an Achievement, complete a weekly quest, or build a team? Xbox Looking for Group allows you to post a “want ad” that other players can see and answer. Each post can contain a description, number of players needed, and searchable tags. You can tag a post with communication and playstyle preferences like “Mic required” or “Cooperative”, Achievements you want to pursue, or custom tags created by the community for each game. Once you’ve found other players who share your goals, you can quickly and easily form a party and get into your game.

We’ll be adding new features and upgrades to Looking for Group over the course of the preview, but we’re excited to get this build into your hands so you can start giving your feedback.

Note that you may not find Looking for Group posts for every game due to the limited size of the Preview community. In general, we recommend trying out LFG for multiplayer games that involve co-operative gameplay or team competitions such as:

• Call of Duty: Black Ops III

• Find Looking for Group

• The easiest way to get started with Looking for Group is to open the Parties tab on the Guide.
• You can browse and search a game’s LFG posts on its Game Hub. Choose from your games by clicking the “Looking for Group” button on the Parties tab of the Guide.
• When you Host or request to join an LFG, you can find it in the “Upcoming” list on the Parties tab of the Guide. The Parties tab will also show you LFG posts your friends have made.
• If you’re the leader of a party and need more players, you can also create a Looking for Group post directly from the Party roster.

• LFG Known Issues

• LFG posts do not yet show up in user profiles, Clubs, or the friends list.
• LFG posts can currently only be posted to all of Xbox LIVE, visible to everyone on each Game Hub’s “Looking for Group” page.
• LFG posts can currently only be posted for “right now”. LFG posts will time out if you disconnect from Xbox LIVE for more than 5 minutes.
• You can currently only host one LFG post at a time, however, you can request to join as many as you want.
• On the Game Hub “Looking for Group” page, posts do not yet update in real-time. You’ll need to hit the refresh button or change your search tags to get fresh results.
• Currently, all LFG posts for a game are visible in all regions and languages.
• Currently, custom tags cannot start with a number.
• When creating an LFG post, creation will fail if your custom tags or description contain profanity.
• When selecting tags to create or search for an LFG post, Achievement tags are not yet sorted by whether they are locked or unlocked.
• Currently, Party Chat sessions linked to an LFG post can be joined (without having to use Looking for Group) if the Party is set to “Joinable”.
• The Posted Time is not yet shown when browsing LFG posts on a Game Hub, however, posts are sorted with the newest at the top.
• To create or view LFG posts, your Privacy & Online Safety setting, “Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites” must be set to “Everybody”. Don’t worry, Looking for Group will let you know if this setting isn’t set to “Everybody” and will help you change it if you like.
• You cannot currently view previous LFG posts.
• At this time only Xbox LIVE-enabled games support LFG posts.
• At this time LFG posts for Xbox 360 games will not show up in the Game Hub, but will be visible to you and your friends in the Party tab of the Guide.
• At this time when choosing a game for a Looking for Group post, search may not find a game if you haven’t played it before.

FIXES

• Backward Compatibility
This build contains a fix to address stuttering and framerate issues in backward compatible games.

Cortana is now available in France, Italy, Germany, and Spain.
If you live in these regions and would like to begin using Cortana, just follow the steps below:
1. Launch the Guide and navigate to All Settings.
2. Navigate to System > Cortana Settings.
3. When prompted, select “I agree” to enable Cortana.
You can launch Cortana from My games & apps or snap Cortana from the Guide. To learn a few commands, just say “Hey Cortana, what can I say?” in your language.
If you decide to opt out of Cortana, just repeat the steps above to toggle Cortana On/Off. Opting out of Cortana will re-enable the Xbox legacy voice commands.

• Cortana

Thanks for helping us test Cortana on Xbox One! We’ve received tons of excellent usage data and feedback, leading to dozens of improvements. While we continue to train Cortana, if you choose to opt out of Cortana, the “Xbox…” legacy voice command will be enabled.

If you choose to opt-out of Cortana, please be aware of the following:
o Headset voice control support will be disabled.
o Voice dictation will be disabled.
o Universal Windows apps voice features will no longer function.
o Only “Xbox…” legacy voice commands will be recognized.

If you wish to opt-out of Cortana and use the “Xbox…” legacy voice commands, launch the Guide, navigate to All Settings > System > Cortana settings, and flip the first toggle to Off.

• Blu-Ray Player
When watching a video with the Blu-Ray Player, the screen may dim after a short period of inactivity.

• Profile
• Users are able to select their own Gamertag at no charge once per account. After this you will be charged for future Gamertag changes. In the current update, any free Gamertag changes will complete successfully. Attempting to purchase a Gamertag change will charge your account, but will not change your Gamertag. • When selecting “Add new” to add a new profile, the add profile interface may take up to 30 seconds to appear.

• Cortana now recognizes many more commands immediately (the exception is the pause and play commands which are still being worked on).
• Cortana will now understand game and app launches better, however, there is a delay while Cortana announces what she is launching.
• Resolved several issues with Cortana launching into a web search rather than launching a game or app after saying “Hey Cortana, launch [game/app]”.
• Cortana is now warmed up and ready when the console powers on or comes out of standby rather than after sign in.

• Microsoft Edge

While playing a video, pressing the left thumbstick to enter full screen mode should no longer cause Microsoft Edge to crash.

CURRENT KNOWN ISSUES

• Xbox Universal Store

• At this time it's not possible to redeem a 5x5 code for Xbox Live Gold on the console. Please use Xbox.com or another console not enrolled in the latest Xbox One update to redeem a 5x5 code for Xbox Live Gold.
• Store pages for purchased games and apps sometimes still show a “Buy” button rather than an “Install” button. If you encounter this issue, please submit feedback via Report a problem.
• The Coming Soon section is not currently available in the Store, and will be enabled in a future update.
• The Store may fail to display content when using certain language and region combinations.

• OneDrive

OneDrive may fail to launch due to an error.

• Payments and Billing

At this time it's not possible to add, edit, or remove payment options on the console. Please use Xbox.com or another console not enrolled in Redstone to manage payment options.

• Profile

• Users are allowed one free Gamertag change per account. After using your one free Gamertag change, you will be charged for future Gamertag changes. In the current update, while your free Gamertag change will complete successfully, attempting to purchase a Gamertag change will charge your account, but will not change your Gamertag. CURRENT KNOWN ISSUES

• EA Access
A download or install button may not display on the corresponding Store page for EA Access vault titles. To install EA Access vault titles, navigate to My games & apps > Ready to Install, select the title, and select Install.

• Xbox Preview Dashboard
The Xbox Preview Dashboard may freeze and become unresponsive when navigating content (Quests, Announcements, Surveys, Rate this update, etc.). If you encounter this issue, please use Report a problem and +1 the issue from the list of Problems.

• Dashboard
When attempting to return to the dashboard with the Xbox button or with "Hey Cortana Go Home", you may encounter a black screen and error.

• Pins
• After downloading an app update, the app and all associated content pins will become unpinned from the dashboard. This only occurs once for each app after downloading the latest Xbox One update.
• Pinning content from within apps (TV shows, etc.) is no longer supported.

• Cortana
• If Cortana doesn’t hear you the first time, you can usually try saying the phrase again.
• In some cases Cortana won’t recognize the name of any game or app (ie. "Hey Cortana open Netflix"). This is an issue we’re working to address, so please use Report a problem if you encounter it. You can resolve this by launching Cortana from My games & apps, returning to the dashboard. On Cortana in Snap. On Cortana in Snap Tile in home, press the menu button to open the menu and select "Quit", which will reload Cortana, on next use.
• If Cortana says she didn’t hear you right after you say “Hey Cortana”, navigate to Settings > Account > Privacy > App > Speech > Collect Info (accept)” and confirm the setting is checked.
• When Cortana is “Thinking…” sometimes the sounds continue longer than intended. You can open Cortana from Guide or My Games & Apps and then close it again by hitting B button.
• On the first use of "Hey Cortana" after a reboot or crash, Cortana snaps but may display no results.
• You may be unable to use See-It-Say-It in various apps such as Netflix, YouTube, and the Blu-Ray Player app.
• Cortana sometimes needs to spend more time "Warming up..." than she should.
• Sometimes short commands are recognized incorrectly (ie. "Hey Cortana mute", "Hey Cortana pause") and initiate a web search instead.
• Sometimes short commands take longer than they should to be recognized (ie. "Hey Cortana mute", "Hey Cortana pause").
• "Hey Cortana snap TV" sometimes launches Movies & TV, rather than TV, until you say "1" or "2".
• "Hey Cortana turn off the Xbox" ... "Yes" in UK, FR, IT, DE, and ES sometimes gets stuck on the confirmation and fails.

• Payments and Billing
At this time it's not possible to add, edit, or remove payment options on the console. Please use Xbox.com or another console not enrolled in the latest Xbox One update to manage payment options.

• Profile
At this time it's not possible to purchase a Gamertag change on the console. Please use Xbox.com or another console not enrolled in the latest Xbox One update to change your Gamertag.

• Xbox Universal Store
• Certain types of consumable DLC (coins, points, currencies, etc.) may fail to appear in-game after being purchased from the Store. This affects multiple titles including Overwatch. Restarting the game may resolve this issue.
• When initiating a game installation from a Store page, the game displays "Ready to launch" even while it is still installing.
• At this time it's not possible to redeem a 5x5 code for Xbox Live Gold on the console. Please use Xbox.com or another console not enrolled in the latest Xbox One update to redeem a 5x5 code for Xbox Live Gold.
• You may be unable to buy, rent, or play certain movies or TV shows from the Store (the purchase button may not appear on the Store page). Please buy or rent from the Windows Store on a Windows 10 device or from the online Microsoft Store (http://www.microsoft.com/store/movies-and-tv) and the content will appear in the collection of your Xbox One’s Movies & TV app. The Xbox Video app can be used to purchase content on Windows 8.X/RT PCs and tablets and on Windows Phone 8.X devices. Windows XP, Vista, and 7.X users will need to purchase content from the online Microsoft Store.
• The Store may fail to filter game and app results when using Search.

• My Games & Apps
• You may encounter an error when attempting to load Ready to Install if you have a large digital library.
• Games and apps may occasionally fail to launch due to a "Something went wrong" or "Took too long to start" error. In most cases, this can be resolved by simply closing and relaunching the game or app.
• The trigger to unhide games in My games & apps has changed: the correct command is now Left Bumper + Right Bumper + X. Using the old command (Right Trigger + Left Trigger + X) may cause My games & apps to crash.
• After downloading a system update, a small number of users may find that games or apps which were previously installed are no longer installed. If you encounter this issue, please submit feedback via Report a problem (hold down the Xbox button on the controller and select Report a problem from the power menu).

• Playing Games
You may be unable to purchase content or currencies from the in-game interface with certain games.

◾Certain content (games, apps, DLC) purchased in the new Store may only be available on consoles enrolled in the latest Preview update. This means… ◾Games purchased on a console running the latest Preview update can only be played on that console or other consoles running the latest Preview update.
◾Games purchased via Xbox.com can be played on any console.
◾Games purchased on a console running the previous update can be played on any console.


◾We’ve added several settings that are already found on Windows today. These include SmartScreen Filter, which sends URLs you visit in apps to Microsoft to check against a list of potentially harmful sites, and advertising ID, which helps Microsoft present you with more personalized ads in Universal Windows Apps. You can choose to turn these off and manage your preferences for how Xbox One uses your information in Settings.


NEW EXPERIENCES AND FEATURES

The latest Xbox One update is here! This update brings a host of new experiences and features to Xbox One, a number of which are a result of feedback from xbox.uservoice.com. Thanks for all the great feedback, and please read on for some of the exciting changes to expect in this update!

Cortana

Cortana is coming to Xbox One this summer and making a splash! You can enable Cortana by navigating to Settings > System > Cortana. Once enabled, just say “Hey Cortana” to get started. Cortana supports natural language and interprets requests and carries out commands. In addition, Cortana can tell jokes, recommend movies, search the web, and more!

Check out the Cortana Voice Command and Information post to learn more. Here are a few of the things Cortana can do:
◾Cortana supports natural language instead of the use of specific phrases or commands. Just say “Hey Cortana” and ask her a question or give her a command!
◾Use Cortana and voice commands from your headset; no Kinect needed!
◾Kinect owners can ask Cortana about things like time, weather, and sports scores. For example: ◾“Hey Cortana, what time is it”?
◾“Hey Cortana, will I need a jacket today?
◾“Hey Cortana, did the Golden State Warriors win yesterday?”


My Games & Apps

My Games & Apps has received a significant overhaul. You’ll now find My Games & Apps on the home screen in the upper right corner next to the game or app in use.
Here are a few of the new features in My Games & Apps:
◾Vew detailed information about games and apps being downloaded in the Queue.
◾You’ll notice several sort options at the top of Games, Apps, and Ready to Install. You can use these to sort, filter, and increase or decrease the size of tiles.

Activity Feed

You can now customize what is shared in the Activity Feed by navigating to Settings > Preferences > Activity Feed.

Store

The Xbox Store has been redesigned! You’ll now find more detailed information about games, apps, movies, TV shows, and more in the new Store.


CURRENT KNOWN ISSUES

◾Pins ◾After downloading an app update, the app and all associated content pins will become unpinned from the dashboard. This only occurs once for each app after downloading the latest Xbox One update.
◾Pinning content from within apps (TV shows, etc.) is no longer supported.


◾Cortana ◾If Cortana doesn’t hear you the first time, you can usually try saying the phrase again.
◾In some cases Cortana won’t recognize the name of a game or app. This is an issue we’re working to address, so please use Report a problem if you encounter it.
◾If Cortana says she didn’t hear you right after you say “Hey Cortana”, navigate to Settings > Account > Privacy > App > Speech > Collect Info (accept)” and toggle the setting On/Off.
◾When Cortana is “Thinking…” sometimes the sounds continue longer than intended. You can open Cortana from Guide or My Games & Apps and then close it again by hitting B button.
◾On the first use of "Hey Cortana" after a reboot or crash, Cortana snaps but may display no results.
◾You may be unable to use See-It-Say-It in various apps such as Netflix, YouTube, and the Blu-Ray Player app.



◾EA Access ◾Game trials offered as part of an EA Access subscription may fail to install or launch.
◾EA Access vault games may fail install or launch.




◾Payments and Billing ◾At this time it's not possible to add, edit, or remove payment options on the console. Please use Xbox.com or another console not enrolled in the latest Xbox One update to manage payment options.


◾Profile ◾At this time it's not possible to change your Gamertag on the console. Please use Xbox.com or another console not enrolled in the latest Xbox One update to change your Gamertag.


◾Xbox Universal Store ◾Certain types of consumable DLC (coins, points, currencies, etc.) may fail to appear in-game after being purchased from the Store. This affects multiple titles including Overwatch. Restarting the game may resolve this issue.
◾When initiating a game installation from a Store page, the game displays "Ready to launch" even while it is still installing.
◾At this time it's not possible to redeem a 5x5 code for Xbox Live Gold on the console. Please use Xbox.com or another console not enrolled in the latest Xbox One update to redeem a 5x5 code for Xbox Live Gold.
◾You may be unable to buy, rent, or play certain movies or TV shows from the Store (the purchase button may not appear on the Store page). Please buy or rent movies and TV shows from another Windows 10 device and use the Movies & TV app to view them on Xbox One.
◾The Store may fail to filter game and app results when using Search.



◾Play-To ◾Play-To may fail to initiate with an error indicating "Sorry, we can't take you there."


◾My Games & Apps ◾You may encounter an error when attempting to load Ready to Install if you have a large digital library.
◾Games and apps may occasionally fail to launch due to a "Something went wrong" or "Took too long to start" error. In most cases, this can be resolved by simply closing and relaunching the game or app.

Coming soon in 1603, you’ll be able to do so! Find and purchase Xbox 360 Backward Compatible games the same way you would Xbox One titles and, once purchased, Xbox 360 Backward Compatible content will automatically download to your Xbox One and be ready to play!

• **Coming Soon** Include Party Chat in Twitch broadcasts: A top voted-for feature on Xbox Feedback, Xbox One Preview members will be able to broadcast Party Chat when using the Twitch app. If you are broadcasting from your console and in a party, you can invite other people to include their chat audio in your broadcast. If a member of your party declines, they’ll still be able to chat in the party; they just won’t be heard in the broadcast. Additionally, as the party leader, you have the option to mute a party member’s chat audio, even if they opted-in. You can also include party members on Windows 10 PCs in your Twitch broadcast.

• **Available Now** Output your Party Chat to headset and speakers simultaneously: Xbox One Preview members will be able to select their preference for where Party Chat audio is heard: their headset, speakers, or both. To do this, go to Settings – Display & Sounds – Volume.

• **Available Now** Customizable Game DVR recording length: Based on Xbox Feedback, it’s clear that fans want to be able to configure the length of their Game DVR recordings. Currently, Game DVR recording is fixed to a 30 second duration. With this update, Xbox One Preview members can adjust the recording length to 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes or 5 minutes. To change the preferences, visit Settings – Preferences – Game DVR & streaming.

• **Available Now** Track Achievement progress in the Xbox One guide: We’re making it easier to access your Achievements by including them in the Xbox One guide. In the new Achievements area you’ll find a quick link to see all of your Achievements and you’ll be able to track your Achievement progress in real time directly in the guide, without having to snap a separate Achievements app.

• **Available Now** Video playback directly in the Xbox One Activity Feed: We’ve made improvements to video playback in the Xbox One Activity Feed. Xbox One Preview members will be able to play an entire video inline rather than having to leave their feed to launch it. You can even ‘like’ the video while previewing it by pressing X. Preview members will also enjoy new pause, restart, and full-screen playback options, when they do choose to launch a video from their Activity Feed.

Here’s what’s coming to the Xbox app (beta).

• Gamerscore Leaderboard: In the Xbox app (beta), fans will be able to enjoy the same Gamerscore Leaderboard feature introduced to Xbox One last month. Access the Gamerscore Leaderboard in the Xbox app (beta) by navigating to the Achievements section of your profile. See where you stand relative to your friends by comparing total Gamerscore, as well as the biggest gains over a rolling 30-day period. A Leaderboard for game stats will also be coming to the Xbox app (beta). Visit the Game Hub for a title with hero stats, click on Achievements and see how you stack up against your friends.

• Updated ‘Featured’ section: The ‘Featured’ gaming section below the ‘Recently played’ games area has been updated to spotlight games, deals, community events and more.

Here’s what’s coming to both Xbox One Preview and the Xbox app (beta) this month.

• **Available Now** 16-person Party Chat: Last fall, we expanded Party Chat to enable 12-person Parties on Xbox One and the Xbox app. This feature has been very popular with the community, so now we’re enabling 16-person Parties across both Xbox One Preview and the Xbox app (beta) starting today!

• **Coming Soon** Xbox 360 Achievements in Xbox One and Xbox app Activity Feeds: Starting this month for both Xbox One Preview and Xbox app (beta) participants, Xbox 360 Achievements will automatically post to your console and Windows 10 PC Activity Feeds. As with Xbox One game Achievements, the Xbox 360 Achievement graphic will feature a description of the Achievement, the game you earned it from, and the Gamerscore associated with it.

• **Coming Soon** Follow web links and YouTube videos from Game Hubs: Community managers of Game Hubs will now be able to populate Game Hubs with web and YouTube hyperlinks, making the Game Hubs experience even more interactive and engaging for gamers. For Xbox One Preview members, web links will display in a browser via the Edge app and YouTube links will open in the YouTube app. For the Xbox app (beta), links will open in your default web browser. As with any other item in your Activity Feed, you can caption, like, comment on, and share these links.

• **Available Now** Compare your Avatars: In Xbox One Preview shortly and releasing to the Xbox Avatars app later this month, you’ll be able to compare your Avatar with your friends’ Avatars. You can click through on a specific friend’s Avatar; preview their Avatar’s clothing, accessories and props on your Avatar; and also see how you can purchase or earn the items yourself. Using the ‘Compare Avatars’ feature will help you customize your Avatar leveraging the best of all your friends’ outfits! You can also compare your Avatar with anyone else’s in the Xbox Live community – just select ‘Compare Avatars’ when you are viewing another member’s profile.

• **Coming Soon** Reputation rating interface changes: The Xbox Live community is comprised overwhelmingly of players with positive reputations, and so, the vast majority of profiles are rated ‘good.’ As a result, we are changing our reputation interface to draw attention only to players who have been rated ‘needs work’ or ‘avoid me’. For Xbox One Preview and Xbox app (beta) members, ‘good’ players’ profiles will no longer feature a reputation gauge, however, gamers whose profiles are tagged ‘needs work’ or ‘avoid me’ will continue to feature the reputation flag.

Compact mode for Xbox App: Coming in February to all Xbox App users is the ability to enjoy a compact version of the full Xbox App. Since late last year, participants in the Xbox Beta app have been able to preview this feature which enables you to click a button in the upper left hand side of the Xbox Beta app to shrink the app to ‘compact mode’ – a lightweight view of the full Xbox App which allows you to do other things on your PC while still having quick access to top features like friends, parties, messages and notifications. While you’re in compact mode, you’ll continue to be able to view real-time friends list presence and activity updates. No need to hit refresh to see updates: when your friends engage in activities like sharing a game clip or start following a game, the interface will dynamically highlight these activities for you. Multi-tasking made easier on your Windows 10 PC!

Updating Activity Feed in Xbox One: Your activity feed in Xbox One Preview will dynamically refresh to inform you of the number of new items in your feed. Clicking the link will take you to the top of your feed where you’ll see a run-down of the newest posts, so that you always have the freshest content at your fingertips.

See who’s in the party: Back by popular demand and already in the Xbox App but now joining Xbox One, Preview participants can now see who’s in a party before joining. When you view the profile of a friend who is in a party in the Guide, you will now be able to see who else they’re partying it up with. Like who you see? Use the convenient Join party button which appears immediately below to jump in.

Gamerscore Leaderboard: In Xbox One Preview, navigate to the Achievements section of your profile to check out where you stand relative to your friends in the revived Gamerscore Leaderboard section. Gloat or moan over total gamerscore, as well as biggest gains in gamerscore over a rolling 30-day period.

Joinable Twitch Broadcasts: You want it to be easier to watch your friend’s game broadcasts. We’re delivering. In Preview game hubs, alongside the spotlight tile showing whether your friends are playing a game multiplayer, you’ll see a tile enabling you to easily launch their Twitch.tv broadcast if they are broadcasting.

Re-arrange Pins on Home and access them offline: Close to 3000 fans have told us that you want Pins on your Xbox One Home to be easier to organize. In Preview today, you can rearrange individual pins, using (A) to confirm a move and (B) to cancel it. While we were delivering this, we also made pins accessible for launching from offline, as long as you are signed in.

Hide games from ‘ready-to-install’ list: Another 1000 fans asked that we re-enable the ability to hide content like betas, trials, games, and apps that they no longer want to install. Today, Xbox One Preview members can start using this feature again.

Improvements to Trending: Across Xbox One Preview and Xbox Beta app experiences this month for console and Windows 10 PC and phones, you’ll notice a new access point for Trending items. It is on the right side of the Community tab on your console and in the left menu area of the Xbox App. Click through and you will arrive at a dedicated Trending landing page, with the most popular topics across Xbox Live surfaced at the top followed by an inspirational assortment of top videos, screenshots, achievements, and more that members across the community have created or unlocked. Consider friending or following publishers of content that you like.

Improvements to Suggested Friends: Looking for people you might know on Xbox or top content creators to follow? Check out the new Friend Suggestions area in Community and the Friends list in the Guide on the Xbox One console. Friend Suggestions include the gamertag, real name (if shared), gamerpic or Xbox Avatar image, and the reason the suggestion was made to you. Click through from the suggestion to view their full profile and choose to follow to grow your friends list.

Across both Xbox One Preview and the Xbox Beta app, January brings the injection of both Trending topics and friends suggestions into your activity feed. If you click ‘see all’ or double tap on the shortlist of friend suggestions in any scenario, you will be pointed to a full-screen view of all suggested friends.

User interface updates to align the Xbox App with the New Xbox One Experience: We’ve made changes to the friends list, game hubs, and profiles within the Xbox App to provide more consistency across your gaming experience on Windows 10 devices and console.



KNOWN ISSUES

Live TV
With the console in Instant-On mode, after resuming from connected standby you may encounter a black screen when attempting to launch Live TV (this is more common when using a USB tuner). If you do encounter this issue, please immediately submit feedback from the console by holding down the Xbox button on the controller and selecting Report a problem from the power menu.

Workaround:

Temporarily disable Instant-On mode and enable Energy-Saving mode (you will not encounter this with the console in Energy-Saving mode).

Hard reset the console.

Se han corregido fallos al arrancar la consola que podían dejar la consola bloqueada o la pantalla en negro.

La pantalla de inicio no debería parpadear más cuando estamos instalando el disco de algún juego.

Game and App Issues:

Titanfall: Titanfall may fail to connect to Xbox Live.

Workaround: Hard reset the console.

Skype: Skype currently will not function if used in the background.

Kinect Games: The Kinect may fail to track your movement when playing Kinect games.

NFL Live App: When playing videos in the NFL Live App, the screen may dim after a short period of time.

Closing Apps: Sometimes when closing an app or following an app crash you may be unable to relaunch the app for 1-2 minutes, after which it will relaunch as normal.

Connected standby and apps: Apps such as Netflix and Twitch may crash to the dashboard after resuming from connected standby.

General System Issues

Guide:
Navigating in the Guide may cause the Guide to crash and remove you from any existing parties. You should be able to rejoin/restart parties without issue.
Launching the Guide may cause the screen to dim and become unresponsive, followed by an error dialog indicating “Something went wrong”. After 1-2 minutes the Guide should launch successfully, or you may have to restart the console.
Signing in or out more than one user may cause the Guide to crash. Relaunching the Guide should display the correct sign in status of all users.
Toggling the Kinect microphone for chat in Guide Quick Settings will cause the Guide to become unresponsive. You can toggle the Kinect microphone for chat in the Settings app.
Voice commands currently do not function in Guide.

Disc Installations: Certain games may fail to install from a disc if auto launch is disabled.

Workaround: Enable auto launch in Settings.

Browser: Snapping any combination of Edge, Youtube, or the Blu-ray player next to each other will cause you to be unable to return to the Home screen or bring up the power menu. These apps will function normally in full screen mode.

Workaround: If your console does become stuck in this state, perform a hard reset.

Virtual Keyboard: The virtual keyboard may not function when attempting to browse in Edge.

Sign In: You may be unable to sign in to Xbox Live.

Workaround:

The following will work for most users.

Press and hold the power button to fully shut down your console, then power the console back on.
Navigate to Settings/Accounts/Remove accounts and choose the account you are experiencing issues with.
Navigate to Guide/Sign in and choose “Add new” to recover your profile.

If the above doesn’t work, you must ensure that “Instant sign in” is not enable for the account you are experiences issues with. The following will work:

Press and hold the power button to fully shut down your console, then power the console back on.
Sign in with an account that works.
Navigate to Settings/Accounts/Sign in, security & passkey and set Instant sign in to “Nobody”.
Press and hold the power button to fully shut down your console, then power the console back on.
Navigate to Settings/Accounts/Remove accounts and choose the account you are experiencing issues with.
Navigate to Guide/Sign in and choose “Add new” to recover your profile.

Snap Center: When YouTube is snapped, it may share input with the home screen.

Global Speech Overlay:
Suggestions is not currently present in Global Speech Overlay.
Contextual commands is not currently present in Global Speech Overlay.

HDMI-In: You may experience a black screen when using a device via HDMI-in, even if this device is not a cable or set-top box.

Workaround: Run through the initial TV set-up and configure for a TV provider even if you don’t have a TV provider.

My Games & Apps: My games & apps may crash if switching quickly between Apps and Queue or Games and Queue.

System Update Errors: If you encounter an update error screen while downloading a system update and the console freezes, please wait 3 minutes before rebooting the console to ensure crash data is captured. Crash data is submitted automatically; no action required on your part.

Automatic Downloads: Content purchased from Xbox.com will not automatically download to the Xbox One console. This feature is planned to come later.

Notifications: Friends do not receive game toast notifications.

Season passes: In a small number of cases, users with season passes may find that they aren’t recognized by the game.

Workaround: Uninstall your other season passes and re-install the season pass you wish to use.

Upload Studio:
Upload studio may become unresponsive when navigating to Game DVR and pressing B to go back.
You may encounter a crash when adding Kinect video or audio.
You may encounter a crash when trimming clips.

Community Twist: Currently this area is not fully populated with content and is missing large sections of the user experience. Activity feed content also may not be actionable and items on the trending items second level screen have not been fully tuned. As Preview moves forward content and features in this area will light up.

Xbox One Media Remote:
When resuming from connected standby the Xbox One media remote may fail to send commands; a hard reset resolves this.
The buttons for media playback will not work (rewind, play, pause, fast forward, skip back, stop, skip forward). The directional and center “select” button will function as normal.
All non-navigational buttons may not function (including Volume Up and Volume Down).

USB TV Tuner:
If you have a USB TV Tuner plugged into your Xbox One console, Windows and Windows Phone SmartGlass devices will crash when attempting to connect to the console. To avoid this, you can switch to the Xbox App on Windows 10 or reset your TV settings and avoid setting up the USB TV Tuner.
Australian users may encounter a “Blocked Content” error on all channels when using the USB TV Tuner.

Third Party Peripherals:
Racing wheels cannot be used to navigate home or system dialogs.
When using instruments with Rock Band 4, the screen may dim after a short period of time.

Wireless Networking:
You may encounter a “wireless network hardware on this console is not working” error when connecting to Xbox Live with a wireless connection.
You may be unable to detect wireless networks with an external hard drive attached.

Workaround: While the console is off, disconnect the external hard drive, power on the console, connect to the wireless network, and reconnect the external hard drive.

Live TV Issues:

The OneGuide pin doesn’t function. You can launch OneGuide using the app, voice commands, or from the OneGuide twist.
You may experience a stuck frame streaming TV to the Xbox App. You can enter OneGuide or resize your window to restore video playback.
The media transport controls do not work when streaming TV to SmartGlass and Xbox app clients.

Xbox App/SmartGlass Issues

SmartGlass and Xbox App Live TV/OneGuide: You may experience issues connecting to Live TV or OneGuide when connecting to the console with SmartGlass.

Workaround: Set your SmartGlass connection to auto connect, quit the app, and restart. If the issue persists, hard reset the console.

2. In the Registration area of the Xbox Preview Dashboard, you can choose Remove to remove your console from the program entirely. Your console's removal will be processed within 72 hours.

NOTE: If you choose this option after taking the New Xbox One Experience Preview update, your console will go back to the current general release of the Xbox One software, but this will restore factory defaults on your console, and erase all locally stored accounts, apps, games, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. We encourage all users to download/copy your favorite games to External Hard disks to ensure a quick recovery option in the event of data loss from a removal.

Desconectar y conectar correctamente el cable HDMI.
Con la Xbox One encendia, quitarle el cable de corriente al decodificador esperar un par de minutos y reconectarlo.
Mantener el boton de encendido de la consola para reiniciar la consola completamente****.

El sonido surround Dolby Digital no funcionará para la TV en vivo.

Los canales en la app no se pueden marcar como favoritos.

El comando de voz "Xbox acoplar TV" no funciona. Se puede acoplar usando el comando de voz "Xbox acoplar OneGuide" o eligiendo OneGuide del menu acoplar.

El icono acoplado de OneGuide no funciona. Puedes lanzar OneGuide con comandos de voz, o desde mis juegos y aplicaicones..

Xbox App/Smartglass

Accesorios

Mando multimedia Xbox One:

Cuando se reactiva el mando despues de entrar en reposo por inactividad puede no reconocer las pulsaciones; resetearlo soluciona el problema.

Los botones de control multimedia no funcionan (rebobinar, reproducir, pausa, avanzar, anterior, parar, pasar). Los botones de direccion y el central funcionan correctamente.

Sintonizador de TV USB: Si tienes conectado el sintonizador de TV USB a tu Xbox, Windows y dispositivos Windows Phone con SmartGlass fallarán al conectar al a consola. Para evitarlo cambia a la app de Xbox en Windows 10 o reseta la configuracion de TV en la consola y no lo configures.

Volantes de terceros (otras compañías): Usar un volante de terceros funcionara durante el juego, sinembargo, puede causar inestabilidad en la consola al usar el boton Xbox para volver al dashboard. Solucion: Reiniciar la consola****.
