-in divx: usually +- 5 seconds (or more) off when you press play after ffwd (check with mplayer osd enabled for time display)
if you go quickly to 8x or 16x, let it seek forwards a few mins, press play, it sometimes resumes at the position where you started ffwd
- 01-03-2004 ogm (ogg video) seeking doesnt work at all, always goes back to start. works in mplayer, although mplayer also shows total time as 0 like xbmc
- 01-03-2004 fixed: animated .gif of floink (restore to background)
- 01-03-2004 fixed: ff / rw in MP3 and wma is broken. Always starts at 00:00 after pressing play again.

To All XBMC fans,

This package is not a final release. It is particularly targeted to TV streaming fans as it does provide better streaming abilities.

Beware : there are some 'new' bugs like weather, some subs etc less or not working.

For those who just don't care about TV Streaming, then stick with previous 12.02.2004 CVS as it does a good job...

As usual this is still beta release so forgive bugs.

If you want to obtain best Tv streaming results :
- install XBMC as a dashboard
- fill the IP settings with your appropriate IPs at the beginning of xboxmediacenter.xml (as per file in this pack)
- set the sound output to analog mode
- thick the video post-processing filter

In this manner you should be able stream on your xbox no less than everything that you can stream on your PC (apart maybe some webcams).

Special Big Thanks to Dash22 for his testing 200 TV streams by himself last night out of the 250 'working' TV streams we identified.

Purists can as well enrich codec list (see readme.txt located in XBMC-2004-03-02\mpalyer\codec\). However codecs already included in this pack are sufficient

En primer lugar mostrarte mi mas sincera admiración por tu profundo conocimiento de la xbox (y mas especialmente del xbmc). ¡Ya veo el canal de la nasa!

Una vez hecha la pelota, te pregunto y pregunto en general:

¿Por qué cojones esta versión del xbmc arranca directamente en la ventana MP3 (musica)? y si hay alguna forma de solucionarlo.

Y la otra: consegui ver, nada mas montarlo, una barra emergente en los videos que se saca con el "Y" (creo que la llamais osd), pero como soy un ereda lo toque todo y ahora no soy capaz de verla. ¿cual es la opcion de meterla de nuevo?. (Aparentemente sigue estando porque cambian los botones cuando le doy a la Y, pero no se ve el menu)

Bueno y otra mas, pero esta es gratis, no hace falta contestarla, porque creo que nadie puede: ¿Hay alguna forma de capturar el plus en un archivo de cache del disco duro ya decodificado con sonido?.

Lo ha metido en mp3 porque el streaming de video ha evolucionado desde el streaming de audio, en la proxima lo sacaran modificado....

La barra que ves creo que es la de progresion de la pelicula, dale al avance rapido y veras como te sale de nuevo.

lo del plus dudo mucho que haya aplicacion, principalmente porque tendria que haber streaming de canal + o bien tener capturadora para la xbox, y el streaming tendria que tener mucha calidad. Puedes probar con un linux y ver si hay alguna capturadora soportada, si es asi ya lo tienes hecho pero lo veo poco probable :)

He probado lo que me decias del xbmc con el avance rapido (el de los gatillos y el del d-pad) y nada, en el de los gatillos aparece el 4x (p ej.) y en el del d-pad aparecen las barritas blancas. Creo que es a eso a lo que te refieres. Pero es que yo me refiero a que creo haber visto una barra emergente que te daba la opcion, mediante botones, de pausar, avanzar rápido, como si de un winamp se tratase.

Y lo del plus, he estado mirando a lo largo y ancho de internet y he visto que hay un programa que te hace video streaming de cualquier aplicación. Entonces, lo único seria hacer streaming del moretv con el plus decodificando. Lo que pasa es que no me acabo de enterar si lo hace el servidor de videolan o si lo hace el windows media encoder (o si lo hace otro). De todas formas no te preocupes por mi, puedo esperar pacientemente a que alguien, mas adelante haga un tutorial.

Vaya por dios, a estos franceses no se les ocurre otra cosa que iniciar el xbmc en la ventana de reproducción de musica.

Bueno esperare a que la version proper del 12-03 este en mi lugar habitual favorito.

la unica barra asi similar que yo he visto es en el skin nuevo que trae el proper y en XBMP cuando le dabas a pausa o cualquier opcion que subia y se empequeñecia la pantalla.... la otra no me suena. prueba los distintos skins, quizas lo has visto en uno.

lo del moretv tendrias que montar un servidor de streaming en el pc y ver de que forma puedes pasar la info desde el moretv a dicho servidor, poderse supongo que se podra, pero no es un tema que haya tocado mucho, lo siento.
