More on the games:
As I mentioned many times, a new Wave Race is in development, and it should be at E3. Many people wrote off the Gamecube as a weak, baby console, but the Wave Race game on it proves that it is very capible. The water effects in that game are amazing; they still look very good today. With the new Zelda and the water in it, Nintendo is again showing how good they are at what they do. But I think this Wave Race is going to top everything out there in respects to graphics. It is going to be the GT of water racing games. You will be able to around in many different levels, all of which will sport many obstacles for the player. For instance, one early design I saw had a racer avoiding enormous cruise ships, which could destroy your speeder if you got too close to it.
One of the more interesting games I saw was a totally new IP. Outside of Geist, Nintendo has never really worked on a “mature” game. This all is going to change. They are working on a 3rd person action game that is very, very interesting. When Ninja Gaiden came out, I remember hearing that Aonuma was really into the game. I found this very interesting, but I didn’t take much interest into the story. Later, one of my co-workers showed me what he was working on. Nintendo, along with Hideo Kojima, are working on a futuristic action game. There is a reason why Kojima isn’t directing the next Metal Gear game. He’s been working with Nintendo on this game. In many ways, it reminded me of a apocolyptic, futuristic version of Zelda and Ninja Gaiden mixed. The earliest ideas I heard involved a cult of humans (humans are near extinction) who are menacing a cybernetic country. In the game, humans were almost wiped out by a race of higher beings, who then created cybernetic humans to take their place as rulers of the planet (not earth). The main character is one of the synthetic robots. Very, very interesting. I only got to see this one time, and I pray it will be at E3.
More later. I haven’t been getting the amount of sleep I thought I would during my break. I will talk about a couple more games later. I’ll also clear up some rumors floating around about Camelot and what they’re up to.

Camelot is not working on a new Golden Sun game. They are not woring on the DS either. Before I left Nintendo, they began working on the Revolution. They are working on creating a new RPG to combat Final Fantasy, which is strange. Square Enix is working on an RPG for the Revolution’s launch, so I don’t think Camelot’s game will be a launch title. If Square Enix leaves Sony (which is not a big if), they could possibly rejoin with Nintendo. Or they could wind up with Microsoft, but I doubt that.

No, I have not seen Perfect Dark Zero. I really can’t wait to get my hands on it at E3 though. I haven’t really paid much attention to Criterion’s game.
I’m about 90% sure that Raven Blade isn’t in development. As the N-Sider article on Retro states, the code for the game is still around. So, you never know. While I was at NOA, Raven Blade was not in development.
Kid Icarus…interesting. Read some stuff on IGN. They did an interview with the creator of Viewtiful Joe, and they asked him that question. He sounded like he knew something. I don’t know anything about that game though.
Woodman: You better go buy another Gamecube. Zelda, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Mario 128, etc. Wait until E3.

Monkey C: I really can’t answer that question. It would spoil a lot of thing. But I have a question for you. Where did you hear that?
Hollywood: No, haven’t heard anything about Rockstar working with Nintendo. I have heard some interesting rumors about Rockstar though. They are showing a PSP GTA at E3; I’m sure you all know that though. But I’ve also heard that they might move the GTA series to the Xbox 360. This is just a rumor of course, but it makes sense to me. I’ve never liked GTA.

Monkey C: You are very smart; that is all I’m going to say regarding the disk formats.
Super Hitman: I’m not telling you what you want to hear. Nintendo has been dropping the ball time after time, but with this console they are finally getting better. Sure, many of the things I said sound very good. I have also mentioned some things that don’t sond so good. For instance, I mentioned that the “revolutionary” aspect of the system isn’t what Nintendo says it is. I have said Mario 128 may disappoint a lot of people. I feel that Miyamoto hyped this game up far too much. I have said that Rockstar is not working on the Revolution. I confirmed that Raven Blade isn’t in development. Many of these things don’t sound good, Hitman, but I still mentioned them. Overall though, I believe Nintendo’s future plans are very good.

I’m not going to tell you what I do. I’ve given enough information about myself. I don’t plan on staying with this developer for long, to tell the truth.
I left Nintendo in 2004, but I never heard anything about a concrete launch date. From what I’m hearing now, Nintendo is watching Sony very closely. The Revolution will come out before the PS3, but I don’t know exactly when thay will happen. I am pretty sure that they will battle it out during the 2006 holiday season. That would give developers (including us) more than enough time. I can confirm that they will not be released before E3 of 2006. The Revolution won’t be on the E3 floor this year.
The portable Gamecube rumors are not credible at all. There is no “Gameboy Evolution”. I’m sure Nintendo has some plans for a new Gameboy, but it won’t be out any time soon.

“The Game” is a very interesting movie. Like I said earlier, check the movie out. If you want to understand what’s going to start happening in the coming weeks, watch the movie.
I am not answering any questions relating to the disk format.
On 1080i: that’s an interesting question, but I do not know the answer to it.

“One thing I want everyone to know is that they shouldn’t be too disappointed or wishful with the next Mario game for Revolution. The Mario game coming out for Revolution is a new way to look at games in general. It isn’t a 100 percent traditional Mario platform game. People should realize this before getting their hopes up.
Also, don’t expect as much support from Capcom as with GameCube. But do expect a sequel to a Dreamcast fighting game from them. I will not say what game.
Anyways, with the game I am working on, I am not even sure when it will be released. We have a lot of elements in the game that needs constant tuning and perfecting. We hope to release it close to launch, but definately not launch.
Right now I feel like I am in the middle of all you guys. You’re all trying to suck me dry of information. I will give you a hint to the revolutionary aspect of the system, but I won’t tell if you are right or wrong.
Hint: Begins with an S, ends with a T. Ten letters. Think about it.”
This is not my post. If all you can do in life is impersonate other people, you don’t have a life.
I’ve given a lot of details. The hints I have provided are very good ones, and they aren’t that hard to understand. But like many have pointed out, I can’t just sit around all day posting answers and rebuttals every 10 seconds. After this week you won’t hear too much from me.

I do not work for Pseuduo Interactive.
I have no information on what Capcom is doing on the Revolution. I know that they have development kits, and it isn’t that far fetched to assume that they could be working on next gen software for the Revolution.

The next generation battle is going to be very intense. All three companies are pulling out all the stops in order to come out on top. I think the PS3 is going to win the battle though. It is always hard to bet against them. From what I’ve heard, the PS3 is alot closer to completion than many think. I have also heard that it is rather hard to develop for in many ways. Although Sony isn’t forcing developers to implement certain components into their games (like Microsoft is), the system development process has a long learning curve. In the end, I don’t think this is going to stop larger publishers like EA and Square Enix from making games for them. Obviously, I don’t have too many concrete details on the system. I do know that it is a very powerful system; it will be more powerful than the other two.
Nintendo is really doing something special with the Revolution. This is a system that will appeal to all gamers, and developers will find it pretty easy to work on. I think it is going to be very successful, especially in Japan. The Gamecube has been a failure over seas. The Revolution should do much better, mainly due to the fact that it will correct many of the mistakes made this generation. There will not be a sub par Luigi game at launch. The system isn’t going to resemble a purple lunch box either. But in my mind 3rd party suport was the biggest reason the Gamecube failed. I don’t see any reason why developers would shun the Revolution. If it is able to sell, it will be supported. Like I said earlier, it will have the greatest launch titles ever seen on a console.

I don’t know anything about Earthbound. Many people are hoping for another game in this series. The same can be said of Kid Icarus. There is a lot of mystery surrounded both series. But, I have no information that would make me think that sequels are in development.
Anyone: When I first joined the studio I currently work at, we had just begun developing for the Nintendo Revolution. We recieved development kits early, but it took Nintendo a while to get us the controller details. That’s why I doubt it will be shown at E3. They have been trying to keep it under wraps for a long time now. It did not have different capabilities previous to the ones it has now. Like I said, it has gyroscopic and pressure sensitve controls. It never had touch screen controls; Game Informer wrote a very misleading artile on this aspect of the system. I will once again verify that the controller will be wireless. Microsoft stole this idea from Nintendo.
Like I said earlier, Nintendo is watching Sony very closely. They do not think that the Xbox 360 is going to be a competitor next generation. As many of you have probally heard, Microsoft is going to launch the Xbox 360 in November. Nintendo has plans on releasing the new Zelda game on whatever date Microsoft chooses. I have also heard rumors that Sony is planning on doing something similar. Apparantly, they are going to release Final Fantasy 12 in Japan to combat the Xbox 360 launch. I actually think there is some truth behind this rumor, but I could be wrong. I think Nintendo is making a mistake by not taking the Xbox 360 seriously.

I havn’t heard anything about Factor 5, and I doubt LucusArts has any plans to work on Nintendo consoles. I will reveal more information on Nintendo’s 1st party games later.
Garfy: You are correct. I haven’t really said too much, mainly because I have revealed alot already. I have more interesting stuff to share with you all, but not now. E3 is just around the corner.

The specs are not important. It is very powerful.
How will Nintendo promote the system? Watch “The Game” and pay attention to the mainstream sites out there. Especially IGN. Many people think that they are biased, and I tend to agree somewhat. But pay attention to what they are saying.
Reggie is very influencial at Nintendo. He has made some poor decisions (Metroid Prime 2’s ad campaign) but overall he has been very healthy for Nintendo’s imagine. I don’t know how they will start advertising it after E3 though. We’ll see together.

I do know the specs, at least what Nintendo has givenus so far. Obviously they will change as time goes by. I’ve seen them on the internet before though. There are some very interesting things out there. Much of it is pure speculation and hype, but I have seen very credible information as well.
Aries Says:

Well as many of you may know there has been a lot of speculation going around about a system called Nintendo 21. Well according to what I have heared and have seen Nintendo plans to release two consoles one in which will be at a cheaper price than the other. However when going with the less exspensive version it will not aquire many of the things the other has. Another thing I forgot to mention was on the backward compatibility; apparently the Nintendo’s new console will be able to play the games from past consoles such as GC, N64, SNES, and yes NES. I belive this feature shall intrigue many people out there and could possibly lead to what I call “New Classics” so look forward to that. FOr now I have to seriously catch some shut eye E3 will be here soon enough.
Esto es lo último, por ahora; y me extraña mucho, que Nintendo saque dos versiones de la misma consola, y que encima, puedas jugar a todo lo anterior, ni de blas, vamos.
