Not to overtake the topic, but couple of weeks ago when Comgenie released his Awsome Filemanager I created a small win32 application to do the PC side split. It doesn't require java or NET or anything. It supports both split naming conventions and I decided to share it anyway.

Here is the requested version of the split4G application. It now has additional drop-down-list option to select the split filename format:

filename.#.part (for Comgenie's join function)
filename.666## (for OBM join function).

* Se ha actualizado con la última biblioteca del Snes9x que contiene las siguientes mejoras:

What Is It?
Awesome Peek Poker is a hombrew application that allows you to view/edit the lvl2 memory on the PS3 during runtime!

What For?
Well, we can then apply patches to the memory. Things such as Hermes controller fix, PSN (Need the offsets) etc.
I presume as we find out more about the PS3 and lvl2 there will be more patches shared with the community.
And to begin with, why wouldn't you wanna play with the ram!?

Note:
Pressing square to dump lvl2 will save the dump to "/dev_hdd0/dump.bin" please use the ftp server app by blackbox or use Comgenie's Awesome File Manager to copy this off to your pc. Please delete an existing dump before dumping again! It will increment to the file >.<!
Yes, there are a lot of bugs at the moment. But the core functionality is there! I released this 'early' due to school work taking priority for a few days.

Version 0.2+ has been compiled with the 3.41 SDK. This makes it smaller! (8.5MB) but only work on FWs 3.40+!

* There's now a build for PS3s with firmwares below 3.41 (basically bigger than or equal to FW 1.92) and a build for PS3s with firmwares 3.41 or higher.
* You can now switch resolutions inside the Settings screen - go from 480p to 720p or vice versa, hence the need for two builds (480p and 720p) eliminated. (Halsafar)
* Zipped ROM support (ZIP/JMA) (Squarepusher)
* Savestates are now compressed as well (NOTE: I don't know what this will do to your pre-existing savestates. Try to back them up first - they're inside the USRDIR folder of /dev_hdd0/game/SNES90000/)
* Menu looks a whole lot better now at both 480p and 720p; crappy font has been put out of commission. It's now actually readable (Cmonkey69)
* Games that switch between SNES resolutions (Seiken Densetsu 3/Secret of Mana) are now both vertically scaled correctly - you don't even notice the resolution switch anymore. This is only at 480p mode - in 720p mode you will notice the same effect as you did previously. This will be worked on. (Halsafar)
* A lot of settings got added to the Settings screen. For instance, it's now possible (on most PAL games) to run them at 60fps by setting 'Force PAL ROM to NTSC' to ON. This won't work for every game, however (most games after 1993 came with region protection), and it might even result in a crash because you're doing something that is not deemed appropriate by either the SNES hardware or the emulator. A solution for PAL ROMs is worked on.
* You can return to a previous folder inside the ROM menu by pressing the CIRCLE button.

* Updated to new SNES9x version - now runs the following games that didn't work previously (or had noise instead of sound):
- Earthworm Jim 2
- NBA Hangtime
- MS Pac Man
* PSGL driver built and in use - speed is now better at 1080p than it was previously at 480p. There's still a resolution switch, but there's no need anymore to switch to 480p - speed is the same at 1080p as it is on 480p, and it's damn good for the record. Enjoy.
* All resolutions supported now
* Added simple hardware filtering settings - Linear Interpolation and Point Filtering. Shaders will come later.
* Added Aspect Ratio settings - 4:3 and 16:10 (HDTVs with 16:9 aspect ratio might experience that on 16:10, the screen might be slightly cut-off. We're working on a proper aspect ratio setting for 16:9)

Bueno, ese programa se incluyó en la wiki del Open Manager wiki/Open%20Manager si bien es cierto que no es solo un mod del Open Manager sino que incluye otras herramientas (AVCHD-Manager, File Manager y FTP Manager), creo que encaja mejor allí.

Pongus is a simple pong clone, demonstrating the basic features of the PSL1GHT SDK.

Right now, it’s in a playable state, with enemy AI, collision detection, Speed advancement and simple controls.

I am aware that there is already a much better pong clone available for the ps3, but that package contains leaked sony code, and is illegal to distribute.

This package is the opposite, written completely with the Open PSL1GHT SDK. No Sony code was used to write this game, and thus, is able to be freely distributed, source and all.

Un nuevo juego para la scene: NEO TANKS 0.1v

ThatOtherDev, continues to fuel the PS3 homebrew scene. This time he has updated his blog with his latest release, Neo Tanks v0.1. According to the author, this game still has a long ways to go and currently, it is basically a glorified screensaver. However, you can control a randomly selected tank, but gameplay is an afterthought. More info after the jump.

PSID is your playstation's unique identifier to Sony, this program will patch the loaded PSID in memory to one of your choice. This won't permanently patch your PSID, but should let you fool PSN. Best way to try this is for somebody with a banned PS3 to try changing it and going online.

Made and tested on a 3.41 PS3... if your using a different version and patching doesn't work properly please contact me and we'll work out a fix

Patch PSID from dev_usb/psid.txt
Choose USB to load from
(should add) save PSID to dev_usb/orig_psid.txt

This uses the peek and poke syscalls in order to patch your PSID. Please make sure your using a payload which uses them (PL3 dev for example)

Usage
Create a text file called psid.txt on root of your USB
Put 32 hex characters inside (e.g. 1234567890ABCDEFFEDCBA0987654321)
Install package
Run PSIDPatch
Select USB with Up/Down
Press X to patch.

Technical Stuff
PSID starts at 0x800000000044A18C in memory (3.41), it is 16 bytes long.

Parece que se te olvido actualizar la wiki, ya puse la nueva versión aunque aún falta el icono.

todos menos SuperEagle, Super2xSaI y Curved CRT corren a velocidad completa en 1080p 16:9 - la resolución mas alta. Si un shader no corre a velocidad completa a esa resolución entonces en lo harán en 720p 16:9/4:3
* Opción PAL60 funciona ahora con la versión 1.92
* Añadido modo - forzar NTSC ROM to PAL - en las opciones de configuración
