En el forum de RSG se han planteado de todo... atencion a esto, digno de una tesina de marketing:
"
Let's see if we can make the case for localizing this game, by considering three dimensions - product, place and time.
Product: Why Earth Seeker?
1) Earth Seeker is a Japanese Action-RPG; such games are quite popular worldwide, but the Wii does not have many of them. Therefore, this is not a saturated market (except, perhaps in Japan - which partly explains Earth Seeker's poor sales performance there).
2) Earth Seeker shines graphically, and this is the first thing gamers usually notice. With a cover that actually indicates this, it should be able to draw customer attention.
3) The gameplay of Earth Seeker, (judging by the videos on the website) is a combination of action and strategy ('Time-Stop Battle'), which is likely to appeal to a significant section of the gaming market.
4) The post-apocalyptic science fiction theme of Earth Seeker sets it apart from otherwise similar games, (Xenoblade, Zelda: Skyward Sword).
Place: Why EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa)?
5) Europe has demonstrated a healthy appetite for Japanese culture (judging by the popularity of anime/manga, especially but not only in, France). Thus, a Japanese game is likely to receive a good reception. [This may have been part of Nintendo of Europe's rationale for localizing Xenoblade].
6) Despite the debt crisis in the Eurozone periphery, the heart of Europe (Germany) is prospering (with unemployment falling to 7%) and other regions of the continent are not doing badly either; therefore sales should not be threatened by the overall economic climate.
7) The EMEA videogame market is quite large:

8) The idea of fighting in the shadow of great monuments (see screenshots in my previous post) is likely to appeal to Europeans (and perhaps to Arabs and Africans as well), for cultural reasons.
Time: Why Now [i.e. Q1 2012] ?
9) The release of Xenoblade Chronicles & Zelda:Skyward Sword in the second half of 2011 will whet the appetite of European Wii gamers for adventure and RPG games. Earth Seeker would be perfectly positioned to feed it.
10) The Wii's European release schedule for the first half of 2012 seems rather empty; therefore, Earth Seeker could have much of the market all to itself.
11) The Wii U will not be released in Europe until later that year, so Nintendo fans will still be looking for games for their old console.
12) Zelda:Skyward Sword is likely to be the Christmas choice for 2011, so it is best to release Earth Seeker after, rather than before, the last quarter of 2011.
