Tengo una duda ya que acabo de comprar una 2DS XL...

He comprado el pokemon plata que viene con un código para canjear... mi pregunta es, hay que crearse una cuenta de nintendo para canjear ese código y asociarlo a esa cuenta? Como funciona es playstation y xbox... o el juego una vez lo canjeas queda asociado a la consola?

Si, hay que crearse una cuenta y canjearlo en dicha cuenta, además el juego se queda asociado a la consola.

En ese caso puedes contactar con nintendo para que te hagan una trasferencia de tu cuenta a una consola nueva, aunque armate de paciencia porque ponen muchas pegas. A mi me tardaron mes y pico en hacerme la transferencia de mi 3ds rota a mi actual n2ds.
