Juegazos
Tiene bugs a mansalva pero siempre me han gustado los juegos de recoletar hacer misiones y demás, y sin pecar de excesivo se ha hecho bastante llevadero.

Me ha durado unas 11 horas bien aprovechadas.

- Spiderman 2 (PS5): 10. Cuando leí las críticas tan positivas pensaba que era una exageración pues el juego original ya era muy bueno y completo y me parecía muy imposible que esta segunda parte no fuese una continuación pero nada, lo que se decía era cierto e Insomniac Games se ha currado un juegazo sin palabras.

- Dave The Diver (GPD Win 4): 9. Gran juego, de lo mejorcito en indies desde hace mucho tiempo pero que con el tiempo se me ha hecho un poco pesado y algo repetitivo, de ahí que no tenga el 10.

- Gran Turismo (Miyoo Mini): 7. Juego que utilizo para estrenar la consola después de una larga espera. Buen juego aunque sabiendo lo que Polyphony podría sacar poco tiempo después se me ha hecho muy limitado.

21/11 - Tony Hawk: Underground (GameCube) 7

Sigo rejugando juegos de mi adolescencia. Un Tony Hawk en mi opinión muy válido y un poco injustamente olvidado cuando se habla de los buenos títulos de la saga. Es verdad que es muy corto, pero los mapas son bastante divertidos y entretenidos de explorar, ofreciendo muchas formas de superar los retos de cada fase

SILENT HILL 4: 7
El único juego del Team Silent que no jugué en su día (pese a que el resto los jugué varias veces) y, desgraciadamente, para mí se queda bastante lejos de la trilogía original, y de hecho para mí está más cerca de Downpour (que no me pareció tan malo) que de Silent Hill 2.
El tema es que empieza bastante bien: la historia es buena y durante toda la primera mitad del juego también está muy bien llevado a nivel de gameplay (no es brillante, como en ningun SH, pero es muy Silent Hill), de escenarios. Sí que es cierto que utilizar el apartamento como nexo en lugar de las calles de Silent Hill le da un punto clautrofóbico que funciona bien pero también da mucha más sensación de estar jugando "niveles" que de estar en "lugares". Niveles, eso sí, bien diseñados, salvo el metro original que es bastante meh (por contra la prisión acuática es de los mejores emplazamientos de toda la saga). El diseño de los enemigos vuelve a estar de lujo.
El problema es que pasado la mitad te encuentras con dos problemas: la repetición directa de niveles se siente como una manera muy vaga de llegar a la fecha de lanzamiento, y convertir todo el juego en una misión de escolta de un personaje que además es absurdamente torpe, lenta, con una IA ausente y una capacidad innata para ponerse entre tú y el enemigo que tienes que matar (y sí, amigos, sufre daño cuando le das a ella por error) hace que todo empiece a resultar tedioso. Lo que sucede en el apartamento, sin entrar en mucho spoiler, tampoco aporta mucho más: acojona mucho al principio, pero no tarda mucho en volverse rutinario.
La historia, eso sí, aguanta hasta el final y es por eso por lo que nunca llegas a despegarte del juego.

Que juegarral. Divertidísimo, desafiante y original. Un juego de plataformas sencillo en su jugabilidad pero lleno de complejidades para lograr el 100% y los secretitos tan característicos de la saga. Visualmente una gozada. No puede faltar en ninguna Switch.

Seguimos terminando los ports de Wii U en Switch. Esta vez con Captain Toad y su vertiente exploradora. Genial juego de puzzles que destaco por su grado de adicción, lo bien medido de los escenarios y el carisma del champiñón con sombrero de explorador. Lo peor es su duración, muy breve aunque permite una parte 2 dentro del juego con más mapas y mayor dificultad.

ALAN WAKE 2





Juegarral, y para mi GOTY personal.
Es un juego muy atrevido, que se atreve a salirse de lo habitual del estándart de los triple A en muchos momentos. No te lleva de la mano, ni te dice donde tienes que ir ni que hacer.
Gráficamente es una locura, con una increíbñe atmosfera de terror, tensión y suspense. La historia muy buena también, podría salir una serie de HBO buenísima de aquí. Y da mucho juego con los dos diferentes gameplays y estilos de juego entre Allan y Saga. (Me han gustado más las partes de ella, aunque un capítulo especialmente de Allan me ha parecido de lo mejor que he "jugado" nunca).

FINAL FANTASY VII: 9
Pocas veces un juego que me ha gustado tanto me deja tan claro, a la vez, que no es mi género. Nunca había jugado el Final Fantasy VII (lo comprara para PS1 en una tienda de segunda mano de dudosa calidad y el CD1, rayado, petaba poco despues de terminar el prólogo en el reactor, así que...) y tras disfrutar mucho del remake decidí que algún día, a poder ser antes del Rebirth, tenía que jugarlo. Varios meses después lo he acabado y todos los elogios son merecidos. La historia estaría por encima de la media incluso a día de hoy, los personajes, casi todos, son carismáticos, están muy bien escritos y te vinculan emocionalmente, a nivel visual es un poco rara esa mezcla de personajes 3D en fondos prerenderizados, pero también es un mundo muy bien construido, el sistema de combate funciona de lujo. Tal vez lo peor es lo confuso que me resultó moverme por el mapa, que intuyo en la versión original no era tanto por que seguramente el juego se acompañaría con un mapa en papel que indicaba donde estaba cada emplazamiento.
Pero también, por eso lo decía, tengo claro que si lo he disfrutado tanto es gracias a los "trucos" que vienen implementados en estas versiones para consolas modernas, por que definitivamente no creo que hubiera soportado TANTO farmeo y TANTO combate aleatorio sin que me terminara de resultar muy tedioso. Por suerte, con el 3X de velocidad y el límite permanente para acelerar esto (sólo en el farmeo, no en los combates tochos) esto no molesta en absoluto para gente como yo (también hay posibilidad de eludir todos los combates, pero entonces no subes nivel y los combates tochos serían imposibles). De todos modos, sé que son parte intrínseca del JRPG y por eso la primera frase: un no eres tú, soy yo de manual.
Creo que el año que viene jugaré el 9, que también tiene implementado este modo 3X para el farmeo, y del que solo escuché cosas buenas.

Me empezó gustando mucho , pero a final se me ha hecho un poco repetitivo, aunque su originalidad y diseño gráfico compensa esto por lo que me deja un buen sabor de boca.

Primera vez que juego a Final Fantasy IX a mis 36 años y estoy en shock por la absoluta maravilla que acabo de presenciar a lo largo de casi 50 horas.

Lo tenia digital en Switch , pero me hice con el juego original de Playstation y lo he jugado a la antigua usanza en mi tele de tubo .

Muchas veces pienso que la mayoría de juegos de hoy en día no me llegan tanto como los que jugaba de chaval porque al ser un crío lo vivía todo más intensamente o era más impresionable, pero NO.

No es eso, la razón es que hoy en día rara vez te encuentras juegos con tanta alma, con tanto carisma y con tanta personalidad como FFIX.

Como fan de la saga Dead Space (especialmente del primero y segundo) esperaba con muchas ganas lo nuevo de su creador, Glen Schofield. Mucho ruido y expectativas se le dio a Callisto Protocol antes de su lanzamiento, aspirando a convertirse en uno de los nuevos referentes del terror en los videojuegos. Desgraciadamente un énfasis demasiado enfocado en el combate melee junto a un gameplay algo repetitivo y la guarrada de encalomarte el "final verdadero" como un DLC aparte, le hacen perder muchos puntos de lo magistral que podía haber llegado a ser.

Estamos ante un juego que es un portento gráfico, mostrando algunas de las animaciones faciales más impresionantes que se han visto nunca. Sus entornos no se quedan cortos, con gran variedad de localizaciones; desde claustrofóbicos interiores de naves, exteriores con densa nieve o túneles sucios y angustiosos. El espectacular uso de iluminación, reflejos y partículas hace que cada recoveco te meta de lleno en el papel, es una gozada recorrer los escenarios tan mimados de The Callisto Protocol, que unido a detalles como que nuestro traje acumule nieve en los exteriores o el sonido húmedo de nuestras botas tras salir de unas alcantarillas y sentir cada paso mojado sobre el duro suelo engrandecen la producción de este título, que compite con estudios de la talla de Naughty Dog o Santa Monica Studio. Sorprendente que una consola ya obsoleta como PS4 pueda correr el título de manera casi fluida (algún fallo puntual en carga de texturas y los interminables tiempos de carga tras morir), obviamente este juego en consolas next-gen se disfruta más, además de lucir en todo su esplendor el aspecto gráfico del juego. La música y sonidos ambientales también están a la altura, poniéndote de los nervios en todo momento.

Vamos ahora a entrar en detalle en lo que para mí falla en The Callisto Protocol: la principal mecánica de combate es el cuerpo a cuerpo, donde podremos esquivar a nuestros enemigos para luego embestirles a palos con nuestra arma. Es una mecánica que funciona, y visto en pantalla luce de maravilla, con animaciones bestiales de como desmembramos cada parte de nuestro enemigo. El principal problema de esta mecánica son dos puntos; primero que pierdes el miedo y tensión en el juego, dado que la manera más fácil de afrontar los combates es en el cuerpo a cuerpo (obviamente también podemos coser a tiros a nuestros atacantes, pero se prioriza el cuerpo a cuerpo para salvar cada preciada bala para eventos más complicados que afrontaremos en el juego). A lo que me refiero es que encontrarte con un enemigo no sientes un temor hacia él, dado que acabar con su vida es fácil con el melee, con lo cual se pierde por completo la tensión en el juego y se pierde la esencia de un buen survival horror. A diferencia de Dead Space, donde sí sentía esa constante tensión en el cuerpo por el posible encontronazo con un necromorfo, The Callisto Protocol se convierte más en un juego de acción que de miedo. Habrá opiniones adversas, pero en un juego de miedo has de hacer sentir indefenso al jugador, cuanto más mejor, porque así sufres más, haciendo irónicamente que la experiencia del juego sea mejor (claro ejemplo Alien: Isolation). En Callisto Protocol a medida que mejoremos armas nos sentiremos cada vez más poderosos, haciendo que los enfrentamientos se vuelvan más frios a medida que avancemos en la historia.

El segundo problema con el sistema de combate se encuentra en que está muy orientado al 1vs1, de modo que cuando hay una emboscada y nos atacan por varios frentes a veces se vuelve difícil dirigir nuestros ataques hacia el target que queremos. La cámara más o menos se "fija" sobre el principal atacante, pero no siempre funciona, y a veces pierdes de vista a tus otros enemigos, haciendo que recibas palos por la espalda sin saber que éstos vienen. Además, el sistema de combate está un poco chetado, dado que con aguantar una dirección lateral continuamente esquivaremos el ataque siempre. Esto hace que algún enfrentamiento con final bosses se vuelvan muy fáciles de superar, además que el juego repite en demasiadas ocasiones el mismo enfrantamiento contra un determinado boss perdiendo originalidad. Por suerte encontraremos diferentes enemigos los cuales se han de enfocar con tácticas diferentes, consiguiendo así vivir algunos de los momentos más emocionantes de la aventura.

La historia es bastante floja, muy plana y poco trabajada, sólo ayuda el hecho de que la ambientación sea tan sublime para animarte a proseguir hasta el desenlace. Para nada The Callisto Protocol es mal juego, yo lo he disfrutado de principio a fin, es un título sumamente cuidado y espectacular de ver y jugar. Pierde fuerza hacia su final, pero las cerca de 13 horas que me ha durado (contando con el DLC) me son suficientes para recomendarlo a amantes del género terror sci-fi. Podía haber sido un título mejor, le ha faltado por pulir un poco más la historia y sobretodo sus mecánicas de combate. Y para mí imperdonable lo de su DLC, debería ser ilegal hacer este tipo de cosas de meterte el final verdadero como un añadido aparte..

Joder tío, no se puede explicar mejor. Yo lo único le bajaría a un 6,5 por lo que dices, la guarrada de poner el final en el DLC, eso no tiene perdón ninguno.

Pensaba darle peor nota, pero tengo en cuenta los valores de producción que son de lo más top actualmente, la ambientación me ha parecido increíble y te mete de lleno en situación. Además que he sido algo benévolo por el aprecio que le tengo a Glen Schofield, que siempre me ha parecido un tipo muy carismático. Además, que para nada es mal juego, cuando te haces al sistema melee y conoces sus virtudes y defectos es un juego muy entretenido de jugar el cual pese a sus defectos recomiendo encarecidamente a amantes del género.

@farting_gramps @itece86 muy buen análisis, aunque yo le dí bastante peor nota cuando lo jugué (ahora creo que tal vez algo injustamente), coincido bastante en lo bueno y lo malo que planteas. Lo que pasa es que a mí lo malo me frustró mucho, en parte por que veía que aquí había material y capacidad técnica para hacer un gran juego que, ya a los mandos, no encontraba más que en ratos muy concretos de la aventura.
Es el típico juego que siempre digo que no me convenció nada, pero del que sin embargo sí me gustaría mucho una segunda parte (en la que corregirían fallos enormes que estoy seguro que son conscientes de haber cometido), aunque parece que finalmente la "franquicia" no será tal y se quedará aquí.

personalmente me ha encantado, pero es indiscutible que no es para todo el mundo. me ha durado poco más de 20hs y solo me han quedado tres logros para conseguir los 1000G (uno de ellos bugeado), cosa que haré en la segunda partida que juegue, cuando añadan NG+ y los DLC's anunciados

Acabada la aventura de Insomniac junto a sus DLC's. La sensación que tienes cuando empiezas a manejar al trepamuros mientras descubres las habilidades, la historia y Manhattan es impecable. El remaster se ve de lujo y la iluminación y lo plástico de los movimientos de Spidey es un goce absoluto. Desafortunadamente, el subidón inicial se reduce al introducir las secundarias, los coleccionables y una aventura principal que es mas larga de lo que me gustaría. Los dlc's no aportan mucho salvo desarrollo de personajes secundarios y continuar el desbloqueo de trajes. Aún así, un juego que se disfruta muchísimo y que luce muy pero que muy bien. Otra mezcla entre aventura gráfica (esta vez aventura conversacional, Policenauts era más point and click, acorde cada una a sus tiempos) y visual novel de Kojima, que tiene las mismas virtudes y los mismos defectos que Policenauts, aunque aquel es un pelín más redondo.
La historia es muy interesante, tal vez con alguna capa menos de profundidad, pero sorprendente para dónde estaban los videojuegos en 1988, y a diferencia de lo que podría parecer, es un juego mucho más interactivo e interesante jugablemente a nivel aventura conversacional, aunque por supuesto va sobre raíles.
Como contras, bueno, las partes de acción son anticlimáticas y contraproducentes, y el acto final se siente muy apresurado y desmejora bastante el global.
Y bueno, voy a meterme en un jardín. El tratamiento de la mujer, por el que hubo una reciente polémica (con respecto a Kojima, no a este juego en concreto), bueno... es fruto de su época y hay que entenderlo así. Sin duda es lo único que para mí envejeció mal del juego, por que sí hay situaciones un poco incómodas con ojos actuales (como que incomodar sexualmente a las mujeres, especialmente a una menor, sea visto como un chascarrillo entrañable y canallita) pero basta ver cualquier serie de finales de los 80 para ver que era la norma, y a la vez hay que decir que también se ven aquí mujeres en puestos de relativa responsabilidad y con carreras profesionales propias, que existen más allá del personaje que las mira, y que están por encima de lo que estaban mayoritariamente en los productos (no sólo videojuegos) de la época.

Juego muy entretenido con 2 modos de dificultad siendo el facil asequible hasta el final de la tercera arena donde el enfrentamiento es durisimo. Cierto es que has tenido que afinar bien tus cartas para llegar con garantias y es mejor tener pocas que se puedan ciclar a que sean muchas y poderosas pero dispersas.
Le falta un poquito de historia quiza, alguna animación, un menú más bonito pero la parte musical está bastante bien.
Me comí tres veces un bug que me impedia descartarme de cartas no pudiendo salir del menú de selección por lo que tuve que repetir enfrentamiento.

Existe un jefe finalísimo final pero de momento lo dejo apartado.
