Hoy es el día en el que por primera vez una release de un juego comercial de Gamecube es jugable. Se trata del Animal Crossing, y el grupo que lo ha conseguido Eurasia. Para ello han desarrollado un cargador (sólo válido para este juego) que se ejecuta en la consola mediante el conocido bug del PSO, y el juego se carga también a través de la red desde el ordenador. No se trata de ningún fake, ya que bastante gente ha confirmado su funcionamiento, pero el método no podrá aplicarse a la mayoría de juegos.

| The Eurasia intro will boot on GC, press START to begin loading |
| Animal Crossing. |

| If everything is working correctly the DOS screen will begin |
| to fill with dots. The TV screen should go from loading, black, |
| Red Nintendo Logo, black screen, sound, title screen, music. |
| |
| On some sytems the entire game will load in 1 minute, on other |
| systems this process may take several minutes! Please be patient, |
| As long as dots are filling the DOS screen then Animal Crossing |
| is loading. |

| If you are having problems with hanging, or the console is filling |
| up with X's and transfer rate is very slow, try using the delay |
| switch to slow down transfer rate from PC. |

Pq dugo mucho, aunke espero que sí, que los compradores leales de nintendo sigan comprando juegos teniendo la posibilidad de adkirirlos de formas más económicas. Ojalá me equivoque, pero dudo mucho que el 100% siga comprando juegos originales. Y de los que compran juegos originales que los comprasen todos. Comprarían los que hubiesen comprado igualmente si no se pudiese piratear y el resto imagino que los adkirirían más economicamente.
Bueno, ya se verá, pero la verdad es que personalmente la noticia no es muy esperanzadora para nintendo.
Por otro lado, cómo sería posible conseguir las unidades vírgenes de de la game cube. No es un formato exclusivo de nintendo? O ya es posible encontrarlos vírgenes en donde se venden dvds, cdroms etc..? Pensaba q no era así.

Por cierto, siempre me ha picado la curiosidad por saber si se podrían cargar otros juegos de N64 con el emulador del Zelda... quizá no falte mucho para que pueda comprobarlo. XD

Se necesita un juego original especifico, un adaptador de banda ancha, un pc y unos conocimientos medios de informatica.
