ambos sistemas, yo ayudé a establecer un listado entre el 2007 y el 2010. El porcentaje era algo mayor en Ps3 cierto, pero tampoco puede decirse que en Xbox360 fuese algo que ocurriese en «contadas ocasiones», ya que fué un problema que abarcó la generación entera. Me vienen a la mente títulos punteros como Halo 3, Alan Wake, o Ninga Gaiden II, todos por debajo de 1280x720 pixels; el problema en la 360 era que 10 MB de EDRAM no eran suficientes para almacenar de golpe un Framebuffer de 720p con un par de pasadas de Anti Aliasing, por lo tanto había que recortar de algún sitio, y muchas veces era de la resolución. PlayStation 3 lo tenía más chungo aun, sin EDRAM, y con sólo 256 MB disponibles de vram los cuales compartía con algunos datos del OS.
Lo gracioso es que luego ves muchos de los juegos que más exprimen estos hardwares individualmente (Gears of Wars 2, Uncharted 2, Killzone, God of War 3, etc), y rulan a 720p con buenos Anti Aliasings activados y mejores gráficos que infinidad de multis casposos en subHD, lo que demostró que la mayor parte de veces no era culpa de esas máquinas. Sin ir más lejos GTA V a 720p es un milagro en ambos sistemas, ¿Y el GTA IV con peores gráficos era subHD en Ps3 no
? A eso me refiero.

Como verás el porcentaje de títulos subHD, o que bien no empleaban AA (para así llegar a los 720p) en Xbox360 es escandaloso.
Y sí, en Ps3 era aún peor:

Por eso opino que esas dos consolas están «rotas», no pienso tocarlas ni con un palo. El Retrogaming de esos sistemas los viviré en Steam, o en perfectos remastered a 1080 o 4K a 60 fps sin problemas técnicos de ningún tipo.
