Eso es la primera vez que lo leo/oigo. Como sea, prueba en otra PC o si te prestan un adaptador como este, has la prueba. Si pasa lo mismo pues es el grabador.

Tambien hay que ver que estas grabando, una copia directa disco-a-disco o desde un archivo_imagen-a-disco, la calidad de los discos virgenes y la velocidad a la que grabas.
