Me he encontrado en la mula el Slayer EvoX 2.0 y quisiera saber si alguien lo ha usado y que explicase que se puede hacer con todo lo que trae. Os pongo aqui el manual de instalacion haber si alguien nos lo traduce por encima. Se llama Install Instructions v2.0.nfo

Select the Xbox type you have and examine the features, including what they boot from.

This brief document lists the steps necessary to use the installer on Xboxes with
different configurations. The rest of the Installer features are covered in the NFO.

The screenshots included are for reference but they are from a pre-release version so
they are not 100% exact. Use as a general reference only...

Several configurations explained here in detail are:

(A) Setting-Up a V1.0 XBOX with an Upgraded HD and a MOD chip that's always ON.
(B) Setting-Up a V1.0 XBOX with a Retail HD and a MOD chip that's always ON.
(C) Setting-Up a V1.1 XBOX with an Upgraded HD and a MOD chip that's always ON.
(D) Setting-Up a V1.1 XBOX with a Retail HD and a MOD chip that's always ON.
(E) Setting-Up a V1.0 XBOX with an Upgraded HD and a MOD chip that can be turned OFF!
(F) Setting-Up a V1.1 XBOX with an Upgraded HD and a MOD chip that can be turned OFF!
(G) Setting-Up a V1.0 XBOX with a Retail HD and a MOD chip that can be turned OFF!
(H) Setting-Up a V1.1 XBOX with a Retail HD and a MOD chip that can be turned OFF!
(XL) Xbox LIVE (Installed AFTER the XBOX was configured with the Auto-Installer)

The only MOD chips that can be turned off by design are the BioXX, Xecuter2 & Matrix.
However, for now only the BioXX can be turned off WITHOUT opening the XBOX.
You can always wire in a switch to almost any MOD chip though and mount it on the box.

The reason you'd want that is if you wish to have a "dual mode" xbox that can boot in
"Retail" mode as well as "MOD" Mode. This is usefull for running XBOX LIVE, also
provided that the HD is locked (Retail or Upgraded) as the M$ Dash expects that.

NOTE: If you access XBOX LIVE while your Mod Chip is active your XBOX Will be BANNED!!!

General Pre-Steps:

1) Burn the Auto-Installer ISO on CD-RW or DVDR Media. DVDR will be faster!
2) Place media in DVD drive of Xbox and power ON/OFF (called booting from Installer)
3) Use Option (2) "Save BIOS/EEPROM" to make a backup of your EEPROM and BIOS on the C:

4) Note the IP address of the xbox and connect to it via FTP from your computer.
4-1) If your IP is all 0.0.0.0 and you cannot connect, your IP was not automatically
assigned by your router.
4-2) Alternatively you can set your PC to the 192.168.1.X scheme and reboot the XBOX
4-3) If you have a different EvoX Bood Media, use it...
4-4) Or extract the files from the ISO with XISO and then edit the main evox.ini &
change the IP. Proceed to burn the files in UDF 128 & 8+3 onto the media.

5) Backup ALL data in the C: and E: partitions (F: also, if there is any data) via FTP
6) Verify that your backup is OK and even burn it to a CD for safe keeping.
7) Replace the HD with a large one if that is what you're trying to accomplish. No need
to do anything to the larger HD to get it ready.
8) If you're planning on installing XBOX LIVE, WAIT!, do it AFTER the standard install.

(A) Setting-Up a V1.0 XBOX with an Upgraded HD and a MOD chip that's always ON.

0) Verify you have completed the Pre-Steps at the top of this document!
1) Select option (3) then Option (3-1) This will install everything.
2) Once the "REBUILD" process is complete, Remove the Installer media and power OFF
3) Power ON & verify that the EvoX Dashboard Starts-up & you're looking at a menu system
and the SlaYer's EvolutionX Gears background.
4) Scroll down to "System Management" and select the "MS Dashboard"
5) If you get Error21 follow the steps below:
5-1) Eject the DVD tray and insert the Auto-Installer Media
5-2) Power ON/OFF to boot from the media
5-3) Select Option (3-4) to Patch the M$ Dashbaord
5-4) Eject the DVD tray and remove the Auto-Installer Media
5-5) Power ON/OFF to boot from the HD
5-6) Repeat Steps (3) and (4) above and verify the M$ dash Starts up OK
5-7) If you still get Error 21 you will have to restore from your backup of the C:
drive 3 files and overwrite the ones on the Xbox HD in C: The files are:
xboxdash.xbe (which you'll need to rename to msxboxdash.xbe), Memory2.xip and
default.xip
6) Verify the rest of the applications start up OK. You are Done! Enjoy!

2) Power XBOX OFF and Enable the Mod Chip.
3) Power XBOX Back ON with MOD CHIP Enabled (if you have a BioXX use the Power button!)
4) From the Installer Menu select option (3) then Option (3-1) - This will install everything!
5) Once the "REBUILD" process is complete, Remove the Installer media and power OFF
6) Power ON, With the MOD still ON, & verify that the EvoX Dashboard Starts-up & you're
looking at a menu system and the SlaYer's EvolutionX Gears background.
7) Verify the rest of the applications start up OK.
8) Scroll down to "System Management" and select the "MS Dashboard"
9) If you get Error21, and the M$ Dashboard does not start up, follow the steps below:
9-1) Eject the DVD tray and insert the Auto-Installer Media
9-2) Power ON/OFF to boot from the media (MOD still ON)
9-3) Select Option (3-4) to Replace the M$ Dash with the alternate version, 4627
9-4) Eject the DVD tray and remove the Auto-Installer Media
9-5) Power ON/OFF to boot from the HD (MOD still ON)
9-6) Repeat Steps (6) and (8) above and verify the M$ Dash Starts up OK
9-7) If you still get Error21 you have 2 choices:
9-7-1) Repeat step (9-3) with Installer Options (3-5) & then (3-6)
OR
9-7-2) Restore from your backup of the C: drive 3 files and overwrite the ones
on the Xbox HD in C: The files are:
xboxdash.xbe (which you'll need to rename to msxboxdash.xbe), Memory2.xip
and default.xip
9-8) Repeat Steps (6) and (8) above and verify the M$ dash Starts up OK

10) Eject the DVD tray and insert the Auto-Installer Media
10-1) Power ON/OFF to boot from the Installer media (MOD still ON)
11) Select Installer Options (9) and (9-2) to Run ConfigMagic for V1.1 Xbox
12) Your Upgraded HDD will show as "Unlocked".
12-1) From the ConfigMagic Main Menu, select the Option to Lock your HDD
12-2) If the Lock fails your Upgraded HD Cannot be Locked!!! (factory restriction)
12-3) If the HD cannot be locked you cannot boot with the MOD OFF and into Retail mode
until you replace the HD and repeat ALL the steps for this XBOX Configuration.
12-4) If the Lock process succedes, just quit ConfigMagic

13) Eject the DVD tray and remove the Auto-Installer Media
14) Power XBOX OFF and disable Mod Chip.
15) Power XBOX Back ON with MOD Disabled (Retail Mode)(for a BioXX power-up from EJECT!)
16) The M$ Dashboard should start up automatically, Not the EvoX Dashbaord.
17) If the EvoX Dashboard starts up, your MOD is still active, Disable it and try again.
18) If you get Error13, now that the MOD is OFF, follow these steps:
18-1) Eject the DVD tray and insert the Auto-Installer Media
18-2) Power ON/OFF, ENABLE the MOD Chip, and boot from the Installer Media (MOD ON)
18-3) Select Options (11) & (11-1) to Patch the C: (This will copy msxboxdash.xbe
over xboxdash.xbe)
18-4) Eject the DVD tray and remove the Auto-Installer Media
18-5) Power XBOX OFF and disable Mod Chip. (MOD OFF)
18-6) Power ON/OFF to boot from the HD (if you have a BioXX power-up from EJECT!)
18-6) The M$ Dashboard should start up automatically in Retail Mode.

19) You now have a DUAL BOOT ( MOD/RETAIL ) Xbox
20) You are Done! Enjoy!

(F) Setting-Up a V1.1 XBOX with an Upgraded HD and a MOD chip that can be turned OFF!

0) Verify you have completed the Pre-Steps at the top of this document!
1) Eject the DVD tray and insert the Auto-Installer Media
2) Power XBOX OFF and Enable the Mod Chip.
3) Power XBOX Back ON with MOD CHIP Enabled (if you have a BioXX use the Power button!)

12-3) If the HD cannot be locked you cannot boot with the MOD OFF and into Retail mode
until you replace the HD and repeat ALL the steps for this XBOX Configuration.

14) Power XBOX OFF and disable Mod Chip.

If you have installed XBOX LIVE AFTER either configuration (E),(F),(G) or (H)
and you get Error21 with the MOD ON and the EvoX Dashbaord does not appear,
follow these steps:

* Make sure MOD CHIP is active/enabled
* Eject the DVD tray and insert the Auto-Installer Media
* Power ON/OFF to boot from the Media
* Select Option (11-2) to Patch the C: and copy xboxdash.xbe to msxboxdash.xbe
* Eject the DVD tray and remove the Auto-Installer Media
* Power ON/OFF to boot from the HD

Yo me lo baje hace unas semanas. Y bien, lo metes y es como si fuera un CD de instalacion del EvoX. Tienes un monton de opciones dependiendo de si has modificado el HD tienes una version 1 o 1.1, y un largo etc... Lleva un par de programitas incorporados como el cambio de ntsc a pal, y lo mas interesante en teoria, es poder jugar al live. Pero me lo he mirado y hay que tener chip que lo soporte y solo hay uno pcbioxx creo, los demas se pueden pero con interruptor...

Basicamente eso, yo lo tengo preparado, para cuando meta el HD de 120 GB lo preparare directamente desde ahi, a ver que tal va...

El Slayer 2.1 ya hace por lo menos 1 mes que salió y es muchisimo mejor que el 2.0
estoy contigo sclau , el 2.1 va pero que muy bien, tan sólo que tienes que editar el evox ini puesto que viene incorrecta, concrétamente en la línea del xboxdash.xbe que hay que añadirle el ms delante para que lea directamente el evox. Salvo ese detalle va estupendamente
a mi me ha ido bien desde el principio lo unico q no se para que vale eso del pacht xbox live lo sabeis?
