Joder, estos días os estoy acribillando a preguntas... lo siento... pero instalación nueva... problemas nuevos .
El caso es que no puedo poner ni arrobas, ni corchetes ni nada, porque cualquier combinación que haga de AltGr + tecla, no funciona, no hace nada. No entiendo por qué. Al principio me pasaba, pero siguiendo una guía de gentoo para poner todo en español me funcionó bien. Fue reiniciar y... no volver a funcionar, a pesar de que los archivos de configuración siguen igual. Recompilé un nuevo kernel... puede ser por eso? Porqu en el arranque me dice algo de que no se pudieron cargar los dos módulos nls, que no sé mucho de ellos pero creo que están relacionados con estas cosas...
¿Qué puede ser? Es que es bastante incómodo esto de tener que hacer control+c y control+v para poder escribir una simple arroba, .

Oie... pues en ese ficherito no tengo nada que ponga keymap... . ¿Dónde debería ponerlo?Mira que tengas el keymap en 'es' en el XF86Config. El resto ya no se, quizá tengas que hacer un env-update.

Pues hombre, no creo que sea eso, porque como yate digo en debian y mandrake fue bien a la primera, y ahora no tira... Lo del euro es lo que menos me importa, lo que me jode es no poder poner corchetes y arrobas... qué horror .Qué versión de las xfree tienes? La 4.3.0-r2? Cuánto hace que emergiste las X? Si tienes la r2 instálate la r3, y si tienes la r3, vuélvela a instalar porque la r3 está cambiando casi cada semana con parches nuevos, y alguno me suena de por ahí que añadían cosas para el euro.

Si no, siempre me puedo bajar los binarios. No te piques que cuando monte el ordenadorcillo que tengo por ahí voy a montar un servidor con debian .Que bonito que suena eso de emerger las XFree, pero le costará un cojón y medio además de necesitar la de diox de espacio en disco ¿verdad?
Pues así es como se llama amistosamente a instalar programas mediante el sistema (portage) de Gentoo. Como el comando es emerge lalalá pues... de ahí que ahora se diga emerger .yo tengo una pregunta, q es EMERGER las Xfree¿?¿?¿? xDDD es q es la primera vez q lo oigo xD
Jeje! Ok, ok... ya sabes que confío en ti... . Lo compilaré, pero una cosa, he hecho un emerge -s xfree y sólo me sale la r2... la r3 ni rastro...Que lo vuelvas a compilar, leñe! Si después de eso no te va, ya no me lo explico. Y no pasa nada, no tarda tanto rato. Si usas el ccache ni se entera, solo hace el link de lo que ya era igual, la compilación te la ahorras.

Si yo me refería más bien a eso de que se dice mu facilmente lo emerjo otra vez, pero le costará un cojón y medio compilarlas

Ahora pruebo la opción esa y comento.Mira a ver poniendo:

Así que funcionas con los masked de normal... jeje! Pues igual me animo yo tambíen. Una cosa... Si yo defino ahora nuevas USE y y nuevas flgas, los paquetes que se actualicen se compilarán con esas opciones, verdad?Descomenta el ACCEPT_KEYWORDS='~x86' del /etc/make.conf
Pero si lo haces, al hacer un emerge -Upv world te saldrán para actualizar todos los paquetes que antes estaban bloqueados a la espera de pasar a ser totalmente estables. Ojo, eso no quiere decir que TODO se vaya a actualizar a la última version absoluta, todavía habrá muchos programas que estarán limitados, como el gcc, que no te pondrá el 3.3 ni de coña, la glibc, que sólo te pondrá la 2.3.2-r1 y no la r2, etc.
Es decir, es un poco más atrevido que el sistema normal, pero no se le va la bola a lo bestia, ya que sería prácticamente un suicidio. Yo tengo la gentoo actualizada con el ACCEPT_KEYWORDS='~x86' descomentado y me va todo perfecto, no creo que tengas problemas (por si te atreves).
Para todo lo demás, emerge /usr/portage/ y a darle al tabulador pa buscar el ebuild específico que te apetezca.
Ha costado, pero al final has estado acertado, jeje! No veas qué agustito ahora... ya puedo escribir un email sin tener que recurrir a control+c y control+v .P.D.: enga, ya era hora eh lo de los simbolitos? Anda que no las paso putas ni na yo tampoco con las fuentecitas

Tú también tienes problemas con los símbolos? Aún volviendo a instalar las XFree? ¿qué teclado tienes?weno... a mi me sigue sin ir... y la kuestión es q kon knoppix tb me pasa... y eso ya me parece muxo más raro... (tengo debian instalao)

Pues mira! La verdad es que yo no probé nada de eso... y sí que puede que fuera el motivo, quién sabe.No se si con esto solucionare algo a alguien pero el caso es q a mi tb me pasaba incluso con la consola, y lo que hice despues de cambiar archivos de configuracion y volver a reinstalar fue irme al centro de control del kde y en perifericos en el teclado estaba puesto para q no usase una configuarion propia del teclado asi q lo deseleccione y ya puse mi teclado en español y et voila! ahi estaba yo pudiendo poner @ y # jeje , es muy chorras pero el desconocimiendo de linux es lo q hace, espero q a alguien le valga esto.
