Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter has predicted that Mass Effect will eventually hit PS3, and is "certain" that the third game in the series will be available on Sony's console.
"I have heard from Microsoft and I've actually heard from EA we probably won't see Mass Effect 1 ever on PS3," said Pachter, speaking on this week's GameTrailers.com Pach-Attack.
"I'm not sure that's true of Mass Effect 2 and I'm certain it's not true of Mass Effect 3, 4, 5 and 6.

It's long been rumoured that Mass Effect 2, which released on Xbox 360 and PC earlier this year, will come to PlayStation 3, a rumour given credence thanks to lines of PS3 code found buried in the game.
At the time EA issued a "no comment", neither confirming nor denying that a PlayStation 3 version of the game was in development. Developers BioWare later said that the reason
for the code's inclusion was due to the game running off of the multiformat Unreal Engine.
The developer recently confirmed that work on Mass Effect 3 was underway, but formats
for the title are yet to be confirmed.
