Just after SystemLink revealed, thanks to a Mr. Muck, that Rockstar San Diego are working on a new project, we now know that the critically-acclaimed developers are, in fact, working on a bunch of new titles.
Thanks to a job listing on Gamasutra, we know Rockstar: New England are developing more games:
"...the studio is working on exciting new projects"
However, not only are the New England division hard at work; all of Rockstar seem to to busy with one thing or another:
"Rockstar New England is uniquely positioned to contribute to many of Rockstar’s next generation titles in development as we ramp up toward a very exciting upcoming line-up"
If you want to get all technical, then the listing also gives what areas of the engine a possible employee would work upon:
"This programmer will be responsible for the game-specific application of physics elements such as ragdolls, biomechanical animation, vehicle dynamics, cloth, fragments, collisions, contact forces, fluid-dynamics, etc."
While Agent is fast becoming the next Duke Nukem (now that Duke Nukem is no longer dead), multiple titles certainly brings to mind images of Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead, Bully and Midnight Club. Next year could get very interesting...
