On April 5th, Game Informer will unveil the cover of their upcoming issue; however some slight teasing has already begun.

Game Informer’s Andrew Reiner has Tweeted that screens from their upcoming issue are “gorgeous” & they are so lovely that his jaw was brought to the ground. Such a tease has led to much speculation as to what the mystery game could be, perhaps the long awaited & rumored God of War IV?

The full Tweet reads:

“The screenshots from our next cover story are gorgeous. My jaw is still on the ground...which is making walking difficult.”

He doesn’t mention whether or not it is a new game reveal, so it may be a game that has been announced & the issue will simply have new information & screens. One such title that would fit this mold would be Halo 4 – find the first Halo 4 screens here.

Whatever it may be, it sounds like something to look forward to. Previous issues of Game Informer shared the first look at Assassin’s Creed III & new details and screens of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us.

Al final el rumor que di sobre El Shaddai se quedó en lo que muchos ya vaticinaban:

"Ignition ha desvelado finalmente la verdadera identidad de El Shaddai 2012 Project, título que se descubrió hacer un par de semanas.

Tal y como se rumoreaba se trata de un nuevo juego, aunque no de una secuela como en un principio cabría esperar.

Alien Fear (FPS) anunciado para PSN y XBLA

Segun la web "e-hon.ne.jp", el dia 12 sale a la venta un nuevo numero de la revista Dengeki. En ella, segun la web, se anunciara un nuevo juego de "Nippon Ichi software".

El año pasado, Nippon Ichi mostro una imagen siendo este un teaser de un futuro juego de la compañia, este juego nuevo (el de la imagen) es un DungeonRPG, con customizacion de personaje, diseños en Alta Resolucion, etc.

DICE contratando para la próxima generación de consolas

DICE is yet another studio preparing for the next-generation of consoles.

A job listing for a Senior Software Engineer reads:

“We believe in tailoring the role for the individual but tasks might include implementing new features and workflows for content creators, keeping track of performance and memory and optimizing for current- and next gen.”

It also says that the new staffer “will be a core part of an AAA game team where you will work with the Frostbite engine tech.”

El super smash bros de Sony podría llamarse PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale

One of the big rumors of late last year was that Sony is working on a Super Smash Bros-style game with all your favorite PlayStation characters. Now, a survey seems to suggest that the game will be called PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.


We received a reader tip that an alleged Sony survey suggests the game is called PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, with the questionnaire asking how the tipster felt about the name:



Previous rumors suggested the name would be Title Fight, so it’s possible that both names are under consideration. Developer SuperBot Entertainment is generally thought to be the studio behind the project, with the help of Sony Santa Monica. Last year, PSLS uncovered that SuperBot is working on a “combat heavy” PS3 exclusive.

Separately, PSLS sources have confirmed to us that such a game is indeed in development, and will see an E3 reveal this year.

City Interactive revela Project RPG con Tomasz Gop (The Witcher 2) al frente

Project RPG has been unveiled by City Interactive and German studio Deck13.

The yet-to-be-named title will be helmed by Tomasz Gop, a former senior producer at The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings studio CD Projekt RED.

Still early in development, the action role-playing game will focus specifically on player skill to progress forward, with a story that is designed to be mirror users' own actions and playstyle through its vision and ideologies.

The world is set 1,000 years after the death of a God, whose corpse is a mountain that splits the world into two sides, each with their own philosophy.

Players will cross the border between the two sides early in the game, and must decide to align with one or the other.

The approach to combat is inspired by Dark Souls, Kingdoms of Amalur and Batman: Arkham City, in that it features systems that are simple to grasp but filled with depth.

Enemies will be designed to be recognisable not by their appearance but their behaviour and fighting style.

It has also already been confirmed to feature a New Game Plus option after completion.

Project RPG is currently entering its prototype phase, and is scheduled to be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC sometime in 2013.

Grasshopper anuncia "Killer is Dead" para 2013

Shadows of the damned and Lollipop Chainsaw developer Grasshopper Manufacture has announced its latest project – Killer is Dead.

Despite the title, Siliconera reports the game is not a sequel to Grasshopper’s classic Killer 7.

That said, the new game does have some elements in common with past Grasshopper games, reportedly blending the gameplay of Killer 7 and No More Heroes. Action is swordplay-based, but will feature “new elements” which are yet to be detailed.

The game will be better revealed in this week’s Famitsu, but early leaks of the magazine report the player takes the role of a “condemned” man and that the game has something of an espionage theme, showing the “dark side of James Bond” and featuring several beautiful women.

Killer is Dead is expected in 2013 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Grasshopper Manufacture is headed by the inimitable Goichi Suda. Its best-known releases are Flower, Sun and Rain; Killer 7; No More Heroes; the sadly under-appreciated Shadows of the Damned; and the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw. It is also responsible for Sine Mora and Black Knight Sword through collaborations with western developers, and Kinect title Diabolical Pitch.

Already showing some chops in the old-school department with their work on Shantae and Contra 4, developer Wayforward Technologies revealed that they are working with Majesco to bring an updated take on the classic side-scroller Double Dragon to Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network. Double Dragon: Neon is an aptly-named 80s style reboot of the beloved franchise and is scheduled to release this July.

Double Dragon: Neon pits players as the familiar Lee brothers, Billy and Jimmy, as they fight to save Marian from a villain named Skullmageddon (Best. Name. Ever.) The gameplay is the same brand of 2D side-scrolling popularized by the original game several decades ago, albeit with even more of a wild, 80s flair.

As in previous Double Dragon games, the gameplay is a blend of martial arts and weapon-based combat. You'll perform combos and use weapons like baseball bats, whips, and hand grenades to take on your enemies. While the fighting system and combos aren't quite as advanced as many fighters on the market these days, the attacks were responsive. The spinning kick move, flying knee, and throws will also be in your fighting move repertoire.

As the name would imply, Double Dragon: Neon is all about neon lights and bright colors (imagine if GTA Vice City threw up on Big Trouble in Little China and you get the idea). The game definitely gets some serious props in the looks department for this, and while the build we checked out lacked in detail, the design was definitely evocative of tacky 80s excess. Ditto for the music, which included a sizable helping of blaring buttrock guitar solos, synth drums, and all the keyboards you could hope for. Songs can be found or bought to add to your in-game mix tape, and can even be leveled up as you play for even more 80's awesomeness (EDIT: We've gotten clarification from Majesco that mix-tapes refer a grid-like system of earning and upgrading power-ups, not music).

Double Dragon: Neon's tongue-in-cheek take on the original game will definitely earn it some fresh fans and the 80s flair should help it stand out in the fighting game genre. Expect more information on Double Dragon: Neon before it launches this summer.

La verdad que el teaser no me aclara nada, aunque es muy cachondo jajaja, pero yo pensaba que la saga neptunia iban a dejar de hacerla, no?

Parece que no... que era un teaser para la proxima entrega...

Parece que es el Neptunia 3... por que dice "esto no acaba" (en referencia a cuando el dia 2, compileheart anunciaba el fin de la saga) y al final del trailer el hombre dice el nombre de "nepu" (¿neptunia?).

Ademas el hombre tiene efecto azul en plan "interferencias".

Alex Hutchinson, director creativo de Assassin's Creed 3, ha mostrado poco interés por algunos de los marcos históricos que los seguidores de la saga habían especulado para la tercera aventura, entre ellos pasar por Egipto, Japón feudal o la Guerra Mundial. El equipo se decidió finalmente por la época colonial de Norteamérica y la formación de Estados Unidos.

"La gente en Internet sugiere los escenarios más aburridos. Los tres más pedidos eran la IIª Guerra Mundial, Japón feudal y Egipto. Son como los tres peores escenarios para un juego de Assassin's Creed.

Hutchinson en cambio desvela el interés de sus creadores por India: "Corey May -guionista del tercer juego- realmente quiere ir a India", en la época del Raj británico, la administración colonial británica de la región del Indostán.

La opción que propone estaría muy bien al igual que las otras, a la par que añadiria la china de los tres reinos...Luchar contra o a favor de Cao Cao tiene que molar...

Crucemos los dedos señores, en una hora podría ser anunciado The witcher 2 para ps3, hay bastantes posibilidades para creer.
En una hora (a las cinco) habrá una conferencia de cdproject donde anunciarán algo "extraordinario" para los jugadores de rpg.
“El juego [versión de Xbox 360] se lanzará dentro de algo más de dos semanas [17 de abril], pero creo que durante este tiempo vamos a sorprender a los aficionados. El 5 de abril daremos una conferencia y anunciaremos algo realmente extraordinario; estad atentos a nuestra retransmisión en directo ese día, a las 17:00.”

Recordar que cuando anunciaron la versión de xbox dijeron que tenían una increible noticia.

Pero no hubo ya un nuevo rumbo con Sonic cuando Sega se hizo third party despues de la muerte de DC???? Porque el puercoespin azul no ha levantado cabeza a algo medio decente hasta el Generations y aun asi.

Joer lo del Halo 4....yo ya no tengo la 360 y no me gustan los fps pero aunque asi fuera no veo la noticia por ningun lado si ya hace mucho que se sabe que esta en desarollo, quien lo hace y mil cosas mas.
Respecto a lo de The witcher 2 ojala saliese para ps3.... por este si me arrepiento de haber vendido la 360, el 1 me lo pase en pc y me parecio una obra maestra, pero mi pc ya no puede ni con el angry birds asi que esperando un anuncio para PS3 pero no se por que me da que no lo van a hacer.

Pues es que yo a ese no he jugado. Se que es el de las figuritas y tal, pero vamos, no se mucho mas. ¿Tu lo has jugado? ¿Que tal está?
