June 10, 2003 - According to various online retailers, Capcom's stylish, cel-shaded racer, Auto Modellista, will drive onto the Xbox October 14th. The game launched on the PlayStation 2 back in March to mixed reviews, but Capcom's hoping that the Xbox's older audience will adapt more quickly to the slick speedster based around the world of urban street racing.
Xbox drivers can expect over 60 real-world cars and the ability to compete against up to eight other players via Xbox Live. One of the coolest features, however, is the fact that you can edit your replay footage by adding special effects or music, then save the footage to show your friends. Other highlights include fully customizable cars, featuring hundreds of parts to choose from as you upgrade everything from your tires and brakes to your transmission and turbine kit.
Capcom wouldn't officially confirm a version of Auto Modellista for Microsoft's console, however will have more on this game as additional news is released.
