AYUDA disco duro externo dañado

Hola buenas, tengo un disco duro WD de 1.5tb funcionaba correctamente hasta ahora que cuando lo meto no me aparece como disco duro ninguna letra.... sin embargo en el administrados de discos me aparece, pero me dice que debo inicializarlo.

Supongo que se ha dañado y mi objetivo es recuperarlo o al menos obtener los datos que habia en el disco duro, he mirado muchos programas, el recuva, el testdisk el photorec.

despues de hacer un analyse con el testdisk ( y tardar mucho), me creó el siguiente log:

TestDisk exited normally.

Pero como no entiendo de esto no supe como seguir.... mi siguiente paso fue probar con PHOTOREC. Y empecé recuperando archivos, en el cual venian sin el nombre original..... pero bueno empecé recuperando archivos, pero el problema es que era un disco de 1.5tb y no se porque se me grababa todo en c: y claro yo en C tengo 86gb de espacio ....osea que me iba a petar el disco C... así que despues de unas horas... paré....

Necesito ayuda porfavor, qué me aconsejais hacer? Gracias
Los HDDs petan en ocasiones sin previo aviso. Lo que tienes que hacer es recuperar los datos y guardarlos en otro disco duro.
Lo que dice el compi: Rescata todo el contenido del disco y guárdalo en otro disco duro. Lo más probable es que te tengas que comprar otro disco para poder volcar todos los datos.

Si puedes, conecta ese disco duro a un SATA interno del equipo y vuelca los datos a otro disco que tengas; los puertos internos del equipo son más fiables que los USBs. No toques más ese disco, ni formatees, ni nada. Y nunca intentes recuperar la información contra el disco duro del que estás recuperando la información.

Personalmente, yo siempre recomiendo el GetDataBack para recuperar los datos.

¿Comprobaste tu disco duro con la herramienta de WD llamada Data LifeGuard Diagnostics? La puedes descargar desde aquí: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=88tisE y te recomiendo el test extendido.
Además, trata de obtener un CD Live de Linux e intenta de respaldar todos los ficheros como JuananBow propuso.

Espero que eso te ayude.

Prueba con el programa Partition find and Mount, para buscar particiones desaparecidas.
Si las encuentra, te permite montarlas como unidad virtual y poder sacar tu información.
