Buenas. He leído un par de relatos de Howard y me han gustado. Me gustaría hacerme con una buena recopilación. He investigado y sucede lo que les paso a muchos escritores en la época, que publicaban relatos sueltos y no una obra completa de modo que se han hecho varias recopilaciones cronologicas que ordenan los relatos de Howard y en ocasiones agregan escritos de otros autores pero del mismo personsje. El problema esque hay vsriss recopilaciones y admito que me pierdo.

Alguien me puede recomendar una recopilación? No aspiro a leerlo todo pero si lo mas importante o interesante.

La ficticia ERA HIBORIA transcurre tras la destrucción de la Atlántida y Lemuria. Había varios reinos y culturas bárbaras (Norheim, Reinos hiborios, Reinos negros, Oriente Medio y Lejano Oriente) que vivían en incesantes guerras durante miles de años, hasta que finalmente un gran cataclismo fragmentó el mundo en continentes. Aún habría de pasar mucho tiempo antes de que (re)surgieran algunas de la civilizaciones reconocidas como "primitivas" por la Historia oficial.

En aquella "época perdida" se ambientan las aventuras del héroe CONAN, escritas por R.E.Howard como relatos cortos para la revista Weird Tales en los años '30 (del s.XX) y luego recogidas en antologías que a su vez fueron complementadas con numerosas novelas de otros muchos autores a lo largo de los años. Y además de Conan, otros personajes de esa Era también fueron retratados en novelas y series propias.

Todos los relatos de Conan son de lectura autónoma, es decir que no estamos ante una saga cuyo final tenga en vilo a nadie, ni tampoco es la tipica n-logía que no se pueda empezar a leer porque falten tomos. Es una serie libre, y los ebooks ausentes no influyen en nada sobre los disponibles. Hay material suficiente para quienes deseen conocer este mundo (AoC).

Asimismo, están disponibles infinidad de Comics; también hay juegos de rol, algunas peliculas, y videojuegos (en especial, el famoso MMORPG "AGE OF CONAN" desarrollado por Funcom).
