Primer concurso para desarrolladores de homebrew nativo de PSVita:
This is it, the Revitalize Homebrew competition rules are now live.
This is the first Native PS Vita homebrew competition ever, and, just as the underlying Rejuvenate hack, our goal is to kick some life into your beloved portable gaming console.
Sony have called the Vita a legacy device, and they recently shut down the PSM service entirely. Thankfully, the scene loves its consoles, and YifanLu has given us ways to bypass this shutdown: we are now able to run homebrews through PSM. And Yes, for those of you who didn’t get the PSM Dev Assistant app in time, remember that running the rejuvenate hack will soon be possible through the PSM Unity Dev App. You can install the PSM Unity Dev app today (as long as your running on the 3.51 firmware or below), and once Rejuvenate gets ported to it, you’ll be able to enjoy PS Vita homebrews like everybody else. So, what’s the Revitalize Homebrew competition?
Revitalize is a friendly Homebrew competition for the PS Vita, with $300 in cash prizes for the winners. I wanted to keep it reasonably simple, so there is no category or anything fancy like that. There will be one first prize, a second prize, and a tiny bonus for my favorite open source entry.
You guys have until September 30th to submit your homebrews to the competition (hopefully, by then, Rejuvenate will have been ported to the Unity app).
The full rules for the Revitalize competition can be found here, please read them carefully before submitting your entry.
Enjoy, have fun, and looking forward to the things people will submit!
