The 9600Non Pro and Pro are indentical to the XT except for the clock speed difference. The 9600XT is clocked at 500/300 and is the sucessor to the 9600NP and 9600Pro based cards.
We have showed you how to sucessfully flash your r300 based cards, now it's time for the 9600 series.
Before you flash, make SURE that your card can handle 500/300 clocks stable. If your card cannot OC to these levels, do not flash your BIOS.
Before you flash, make sure to uninstall your old video card drivers.
HOW TO FLASH
First you will need a copy of the 9600XT 128MB BIOS
Once you have the BIOS you will need to have Flashrom 1.3. Flashrom is the program that you will use to flash your BIOS with.
Finally, you will need a bootable disk. This will allow you to get to a DOS prompt to flash your BIOS. You can get a bootdisk from
http://www.bootdisk.com , or if you need a bootable CD you can use Nero.
Now you need to place the BIOS file and flashrom on your boot disk once it is created.
The Flashing Procedure
Assuming that you have your bootdisk with all files on it you can now flash. You will need to boot from the disk and do the following to flash:
At the A:\ prompt type "FLASHROM.EXE" to run the program. A screen full of commands should load, simply press enter. Now type "FLASHROM.EXE -p 0 9600xt128.bin". Once you have completed this, it should write to the BIOS and verify it. Now you need to reboot your system and re-install your video card drivers.
You should now have a fully functional Radeon 9600XT video card. You may also notice an increase in the memory overclock that you can obtain after flashing.
Segun he estado leyendo en la pagina a nadie le ha funcionado o eso creo, todo es probar
