The PS2 is able to read DVD Backups. Just to give it a try we made a 1:1 Backup of the DVD-Game Zone of the Enders using a Pioneer DVD Burner. Of course it didn't boot directly but using a trick we made it working. With a Neo2 modded PS2 we booted the original keeping reset pressed all the time. In the mainmenu in which you can select "Start Game" or "Options" I released the resetbutton and exchanged for the Backup. After pressing "Start Game" it continued booting and the game loaded perfectly! Well, this is nothing very big but it is the proof that the PS2 is definately able to read DVD-R so the modchip-devers can continue deving the perfect mod

Claro, poro según esa info se necesita disponir tb del juego original Pero como comenta el tio si eso es cierto es la prueba de q la PS2 puede leer copias de DVD sin tener q ajustar ni modificar el laser...
