GameSpy: Tell us about the enhanced graphics and audio that will be featured in this game. What special engine features will we see in this game that haven't been seen before, how many polygons does each character use and how many frames per second are you shooting for?
Cameron Payne: Serious bump mapping, glow effects that have only been found in pre-rendered sequences; rack focus and depth of field effects; facial expressions and accurate lip-sync in response to character physical and emotional states; self shadowed characters… the list goes on and on. Each character is about 6000 polygons during gameplay. Of course we'll be 30 fps, all the time. The audio is real-time 3D positional audio in 5.1 speaker field; essential for tactical decision making on the battle field. The guys at DA know what they're doing, believe me.
