Custom 3.41 por Hermes (Ya diponible)

Hermes lo ha liberado y lo han hecho público.

Hermes CFW 3.41 version 1.0 (BETA)

WARNING! This modified firware is tested only by two persons (it is experimental!!!) with this models:

CECHC04 (my model, 3 times with different changes)
CECHG04 (from one friend)

I cannot be sure if it can brick others models (don´t use this CFW if you have buy your console with 3.50+, you can brick it!)

I am not responsible if this CFW brick you console: I have taken all possible precautions using SHA1 hash to avoid errors building
the firmware, etc, and other problems (i include too my own patch utility to be sure you apply the patch correctly).

Building the firmaware:

Put original PS3UPDAT.PUP (3.41 v2) with patch.bat and run patch.bat. It must create CFW341_PS3UPDAT.PUP.

Put CFW341_PS3UPDAT.PUP as PS3UPDAT.PUP in one pendrive (usb:/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP) and try toupdate normally from the device.

If it say "you have this version yet" try the restoration - recovery method (pressing POWER. Ask about this method if you don´t know in the forums)

Features:

- LV1 patch for undocumented v1_undocumented_function_114 (kudos for flukes1/graf_chokolo) 1 byte, don´t worry!

- LV2 peek/poke patch (original from psgroove)

- vsh.self patch to enable .self (same patch as psgroove-hermes_v4B. To launch self requires the payload working)

- nas_plugin.sprx patch to enable packages (same patch as psgroove-hermes_v4B. You can install PSL1GHT original packages but requires
geohot make_self_npdrm without one payload working)

- category_game.xml modified to enable packages (kudos for KaKaRoTo)

With this options PS3 works with Homebrew signed (use make_self_npdrm in the EBOOT.BIN).

Working:

Install payloadhv4.pkg and launch it to load the psgroove-hermes_v4B

NOTE: payload code is experimental. I need to work in the application and the payload to add news features.
don't worry about the source code now: this is a beta test version yet, but the source code will soon available.

Applications and patch don´t include any code from SCEE, SCEA or SONY.

This CFW is not building for piracy pourposes and i am not working in the current 3.55+ firmware.

So PSN (the Online) is safe of unauthorized access. 3.41 is vulnerable using a jailbreak device ( easily and cheap to buy or build one) and
the vast majority of users uses the current 3.55+ firmware.

I only can take the control of my console for private uses, non profit, within the Spanish legality and i do clear my determination to don´t harm
SONY and other companies. I am not responsible for the uses of others personas make of this CFW. Then I not see problem doing the same without
the device.

Este CFW no se ha construido para habilitar la pirateria y yo no estoy trabajando en firmware 3.55+.

Asi PSN (el Online) esta salvo de accesos no autorizados. La version 3.41 es vulnerable usando un dispositivo jailbreak (facilmente y barato de comprar
o contruir) y la gran mayoría de usuarios usan la version actual 3.55+ de firmware. Por lo que no veo problema en hacer lo mismo sin dispositivo.

Yo solamente tomo el control de mi consola para usos privados, sin lucro, dentro de la legalidad española y dejo claro mi voluntad de no perjudicar
a SONY y otras empresas, no siendo responsable del uso que hagan otras personas de este CFW.

Yo no soy responsables si este CFW "enladrilla" tu consola: Yo he tomado todas las precauciones posibles usando SHA1 hash para ectitar errores contruyendo
el firmware, etc.

(soy español y no conozco bien el idioma Ingles. En caso de discrepancia hago constar que lo escrito en español expresa mi voluntad e intencion.
Cualquier mala interpretacion debera estar sujeta a la premisa de que tal vez no me he sabido expresar bien. Incluso la parte en español es breve
y concisa: con lo cual, en caso de duda o mal interpretacion en ultima instancia se debe entender que no busco perjudicar a nadie de forma alguna,
mientra hago un uso que interpreto como legal)

Dentro del ZIP las instrucciones de cómo generar el PUP y los archivos necesarios ( necesitas tener el 3.41 V2)
