http://www.ps2-scene.com han conseguido arrancar una copia de PS2 en DVD-R haciendo un doble swap con el AR 2 y con una demo en DVD. Esto es el comienzo amigos!!
Aqui os pongo el texto original:
"An interpred person in the scene has managed to get working DVD-R backups to play. Not like the previously known method where you have to swap with the original copy of the game you have backed up, but instead using a PAL DVD Demo Disc, that has been modified to have the Action Replay 2 software on it. The method involves loading up the original DVD Demo, then swapping in the DVD-R copy with the AR2 on it. Now from here the Action Replay 2 software can be loaded. Once loaded a straight DVD-R copy of any game can be swapped and played.
The method above involves a double swap. However the game can be modified to run in the first swap, from the DVD Demo Disc. But this method requires changing the structure of the game, and that can be very time consuming, if not difficult. So for the sake of one extra swap clean 1:1 images of a game can be used.
At the moment DVD-R backups only work using the cog/knife method, due to the double swap needed. Maybe the coders of the modchips can implement code to allow double swaps?"
Suena bien eh? Veremos en que se queda...
