Buscando en google sale esto:
"When using fdisk you need to click yes when prompted to enable large disk support. Go back into fdisk and delete the partition and start over using large disk support. When you are done exit and reboot. Reenter fdisk and JUST CHECK to be sure the partition is setup properly. Reboot to the WnXP and intall your OS. If for some reason fdisk doesn't allow you to delete the existing partition just use Delpart and then create new with fdisk."
Por lo k entiendo se debe a la particion del disco duro, k no tienes activado lo d compatibilidad con discos grandes.
Usa el FDISK para arreglarlo a ver si hay suerte.
