El tema va sobre un "sistema de generosidad" que incluira el Fable. Algo parecido a la elección de pareja del DOAX
IGN: You've said some items are for gift giving, something that many Xbox owners are getting used to right now with Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. How is the gift system going to work in Fable?
DC: Ours is very very generic, on purpose. Basically the game has a concept of generosity. One of the ways you can redeem yourself, possibly a little cynically, is by making sure you spread your wealth around the world. It's awesome how many people will forgive your sins when you're spreading your wealth all over the place. You can tell we were developers on Dungeon Keeper, couldn't you? So there are obviously monetary gifts, but there are also things that are far more precious. Things like gems, boxes of chocolates, rings etc. and you can give these things away to everybody in the game. This isn't a game where you'll be sitting there going "Oh Farmer Johnston wants the magic egg, blah blah blah, go collect the magic egg." No, these are all things where people have their own personalities and react very differently to gifts depending on how they feel about you; whether they respect you enough to take it; whether you've been giving them too many gifts and you're coming across as creepy and things like that. Basically if you want to have some sort of romantic relationship, gift giving is quite an integral part, but at the same time it's not what you'd expect. It's not a standard "Do A, B, and C" thing. It's very much a case of trying to feel out how the relationship is going to develop, making sure you don't make them scared and they don't feel too creepy because your advances are too strong.
