Quiero conectar una tarjeta de sonido y solo dispongo de conexiones usb...

¿Tarjeta de sonido? ¿Cual tarjeta de sonido externa por firewire dices?

Como sea, de existir el adaptador puede existir pero no sera un simple pincho pasivo, debe ser un adaptador activo para poder traducir las instrucciones del firewire al usb y viceversa.


Busca informacion sobre tu 'tarjeta de sonido' por firewire y ve si puede operar en un bus USB, si es asi entonces podria ser que el controlador pueda hacer el trabajo de traduccion y de alguna manera comunicarse usando la interfaz firewire de la tarjeta [por interfaz me refiero a los circuitos de comunicacion detras del puerto] pero enviandole ordenes desde la interfaz usb de la PC. Y si eso se puede hacer entonces ese pincho que has visto podria servir. Lo dudo y seria mas un adaptador activo, pero en ese caso es mejor ver las dos opciones que te he puesto [si la tarjeta madre tiene los pines del 1394 solo es conseguir el bracket firewire, y sino la tarjeta pcie de expansion firewire].

O bien e igual de sencillo, compra tarjeta de sonido PCIE o PCI.

This adapter ruined my camera's firewire port. Don't buy this product unless you want to ruin your devices. Basically, my firewire port worked fine when attached to my very old Dell computer (with firewire port). I wanted to get fancy and connect this to a newer PC/iMac PRO. As soon as I used this, my firewire port on the camera no longer worked. At first, I thought it just didn't work. So when I went back to the original configuration (camera to old PC) it no longer recognized that the camera was connected

should have read the reviews before I bought this. Live and learn. The product does NOT work at all for me. I bought it to connect some LaCie HDD with firewire interfaces to my Micca MPlay HD media player. I haven't even tried it yet because when I first tried to connect the HDD via the adapter to my Windows 7 laptop the system would not recognize the drive. When I connect the same drive (using the same cable) directly to my firewire interface on my desktop (WinXP) it works fine.

ya me suponía que nada, que necesitaba una caja, pues paso porque gastar dinero para jugármela antes tomaré otro camino
