Thanks to a small donation drive organized by Fanjita, the PSP Community helped get Orbis PSP Development the replacement parts needed to repair their PSP and they have now released Flashmod v3. For those of you who are out of the loop, Flashmod is a program that will allow you to tweak and adjust the way your PSP operates. Here’s the full release info from IchigoKurosaki:

2.00+ UMD Support
  • Added Overclocking option.
  • No changes to 2.00+ support (Wait for Flashmod Modified Firmware)
Place Firmware in ms0:/f0 and ms0:/f1 (if you use FakeUpdater you shouldn't have to rename the directories)

UMD Loading
  • Added Overclocking option.
Corrupted Icon Remover through Firmware
Will make Corrupted Data Icon and text to disappear (Space will still exist)

PSIX Version Changer
  • Changes 1.0 Lite on top bar to 1.00 PSP -or- 1.50 PSP
  • Only for PSIX Lite
PSIX must be in ms0:/PSP/GAME/psix/

PSIX Background Changer
  • Allows Lite or Pro Users to change the Background of PSIX
Put 480x272 Background in ms0:/ named background.jpg or background.png

Graphical User-Interface
  • New Graphical User-Interface thanks to Fluff

Note: Any program that writes to the PSP’s flash memory has the potential to damage your PSP. Use at your own risk.

Can i put Flashmod v3 on my website?
I don't mind just remeber to give credit to where credit is due and that is including Fluff

Can i edit Flashmod v3 and release my own version?
Yes just bring it through me first before doing it. I wouldn't want something that could damage someones PSP to have "Orbis PSP Development" on it. Also remeber to give credit to the original creator and original graphic designer.

Where do i put the Firmware for 2.00+ Support?

Where can i get flash 0 and flash1 for the 2.00+ UMD Support?
Download FakeUpdater from this thread. Next Download 2.00, 2.10, or 2.50 Firmware update from QJ.net. Next place the EBOOT.PBP in the FakeUpdater's UPDATE Folder. Then run FakeUpdate it should automaticly place the Firmware in the correct directories.

XMB/PSIX Questions

How do i install a custom background?
For XMB (Xross Media Bars):
Place xx.bmp in ms0:/ (Must be 300x170 and under 150kb)

01.bmp - January
02.bmp - February
03.bmp - March
04.bmp - April
05.bmp - May
06.bmp - June
07.bmp - July
08.bmp - August
09.bmp - September
10.bmp - October
11.bmp - November
12.bmp - December

So what ever 01.bmp is will be you background for January, what ever 02.bmp is will be your background for February.

For PSIX (PSP Interface X):
Place background.jpg or background.png in ms0:/ (background.jpg and background.png can be 480x272)

No carga ningun UMD con 2.0, al menos todos los q yo tengo no carga ni uno...si veis mi firma, podreis ver todos los q tengo para 2.0 (excepto el Wipeout -> q para este no hace falta Flashmod)...

Nota: Esta muy bien la integracion con PSIX y el poder quitar las ondas (waves) del fondo de pantalla...me molestaban bastante...

En el readme pone que el procesador con los UMDs insestrados te van a ir a 333 mhz ? No sé que creer porque me he puesto a jugar con el Medievil a partir del FlashMod y creo que va igual, no he notado ninguna diferencia. Alguien podria confirmarlo ?

En el readme pone que con esta versión puedes poner el procesador a 333 MHz para jugar a los UMDs, donde coño está la opción ?

PD:en vez de decir tantas tonterias podrias contestar a lo q se pide q es para lo q estamos...q luego los q os qejais cuando algien abre un hilo para decir una cosa q ya se ha hablado sois vosotros (decis: joder no me puedo imaginar como van a estar los servidores con tanto hilo abierto para nada)

tengo una dudilla, y es que, si uso emulacion flash, no hay riesgo de joderme la psp, no?

Edit: y que es y de donde saco el psix? me he descargado la version que hay en la pagina oficial, pero me da error en la psp, menos mal que emulo flash, que si no... me da a mi que me hubiera quedado con un bonito pisapapeles..
