There's the D2CKey (
http://www.d2ckey.com) which is easy to install (relatively at least, and if you want to be risky, you can use very sticky tape so you don't need to solder, but this isn't recommended) using the PCB Flex Cable (
http://www.d2ckey.com/flexpcb.html), however, it is NOT easy to install without this, and requires 31 wires to very very small IC legs of the drive chipset.
With the flex cable, all you have to do is clip on one end to the drive chip, with no soldering on that part, and solder the chip to the solder pads on the other end... or use very very sticky tape to ensure contact is made from the metal on the chip to the metal on the flex cable.
Alternatively, you could look at the ARGON coming out soon (
http://psx-scene.com/forums/nintendo...announced.html) which is only 13 wires, and has been advertised as upgradable.
This doesn't have an announced flex pcb cable though, so will need someone who is quite professional at soldering to install it.
These are the only options for modifying a D2C Drive in the Nintendo Wii.
