In Brief
So, for those who have never even heard of Forza Motorsport, here's a little primer. A racing simulation built to provide gamers with a real-world sense of speed, physics, and competitive AI, Microsoft's internally built uber-racer features 233-plus cars, a huge career mode, tons of realistic, officially licensed cars from around the world (North America, Europe and Asia), customizing features (internal and external), and an extensive online set of modes, leaderboards, and challenges. These licensed vehicles can take damage, there are human models in the cars themselves, there is a sensational feeling of raw power and speed in each of the 200-plus cars, and everything is designed to be top notch,
with 60 FPS and Dolby 5.1 sound. Microsoft's game, announced right before E3 in May 2004, experienced a superb E3 showing, has gone through many iterations, seen delays, and now it's supposedly coming out in early April.
