freestyle Dash v2 caratulas

buenas tardes.

llevo ya 3 semanas que tube que volver a meter el freestyle dash v2 y no me descarga caratulas fotos y descripcion.

Ha alguien mas le pasa esto ?
Mira en el launch.ini si tienes desactivadas "livestrong = false" y "liveblock = false". A mi me pasaba lo mismo y puse estas opciones y ahora va genial.

es muy raro pero he tengo la ultima interface de xbox y he tenido que meter el Dash Launcher 2.25 y dejar el launch.ini en la raid de hdd interno de la xbox jtag y tachan funcionando lo que he hecho al final es borrar todo pero metiendo el ultimo dash launcher 2.25 todo perfecto.
Yo tenía el launch.ini configurado en el hdd externo, y tras leer el comentario de jimmy_5282 lo e metido en raíz del hdd externo y a funcionado. Lo comento por si alguien le ayuda, ya que en el hilo del dashlaunch se dice que se meta el launch.ini donde se desee, y parece ser que no es así.

yo tengo el mismo problema, ¿donde puedo encontrar el launch.ini? me ha llegado hoy la xbox con el RGH de una tienda, y busco por FTP en la raiz y no lo encuentro, a ver si me podeis echar una mano.

Yo usaría el que viene como ejemplo junto al dashlaunch que tiene todas las opciones y están explicadas (en inglés).

¿Y ese donde lo encuentro? La página de novatos me la he leído entera y dice como hacerte un launch.ini, pero nada de donde puedo encontrarlo si ya lo tengo hecho.

vamos por partes selecciona todo el texto copia y pega en el block de notas de windows le das a guardar como y en vez de .txt pones.ini
lo metes en un pendrive formateado a fat 32 y con el xex lo buscas lo copias y pegas donde este la carpeta installer y la carpeta de freestyle e inicias el installer de dashlaunch y te dira archivo launch detectado aqui te dejo lo que tienes que contestar salvo lo de patch content que es yes para que te parchee
los dlc de manera automatica

Muchas gracias, ahora me queda mucho mas claro. Pero tengo otro problema y es que me estoy volviendo loco, el caso es que por FTP veía que tenía instalado Xexmenu y FSD, sin embargo en la biblioteca de juego solo me aparecía FSD para ejecutar. Despues de mucho leer he instalado Xexmenu otra vez por FTP en content/00000... y ya me aparece el xexmenu, pero me ha desaparecido el FSD de la biblioteca de juegos y no lo puedo ejecutar. ¿Sabes que estoy haciendo mal?

Primero al fsd puedes acceder desde xex menu busca donde lo dejaste y sino esta vuelvelo a copiar desde usb o como lo hagas abre la carpeta u selecciona e lxbe que saldra remarcado copiadlo siempre en la raiz no en carpetas

debe de quedar asi
usb:\freestyle\default.xex usb:\launch.ini
hdd1:\freestyle\default.xex y lo mismo el launch ini hdd1:\lanch.ini

para bilkoff eso es una muestra para que varies parametros de con que programa quieres arrancar y desde que unidad yo solo he conseguido arrancar fsd instalandolo en el disco duri interno si quieres un launch ini bueno copia el del tutorial de elnef que te bloauea el live pero no el xlink kai y lo de las caratulas
mira mi mensaje y ya sabras como se hace amen de los tutoriales

Lo del dashlaunch creo que ya lo tengo claro, a ver si luego lo hago. El FSD lo puedo arrancar de xexmenu, creo que no es posible tener los dos en la biblioteca de juegos y que solo se puede tener uno de los dos (xexmenu o FSD). No obstante con dashlaunch voy a poner que me arranque por defecto el FSD, y en la biblioteca dejo el xexmenu.

Ya lo he conseguido, he creado el launch.ini manualmente, lo he metido en la carpeta del installer del dashlaunch, y he copiado la carpeta installer con todo a hdd. He abierto el installer desde xexmenu, y ya ha hecho todo. Ahora me arranca el FSD directamente, y me baja las caratulas.

Podrias decirme los pasos que has hecho exactamente? asi como para torpes como yo :) :) :) :) Que has copiado exactamente en el launch.ini?

Para empezar necesitas tener xexmenu instalado, para poder ejecutar archivos. Los archivos que ejecutan un programa suelen ser default.xex, te pongo los pasos:

1º Descargas el dashlaunch 2.25, lo puedes encontrar con google sin problema.
2º Una vez descargado el dashlaunch, verás que hay una carpeta que se llama "installer", es la que necesitas, dentro está el default.xex que ejecuta el programa (un .xex es en xbox como un .exe para windows).
3º Para que la instalación sea automática, resulta mas cómodo crear el launch.ini en el ordenador, para ello creas un archivo de texto con bloc de notas, y pegas el siguiente código:

Así es tal cual lo he pegado yo, pero tienes que fijarte que las rutas del FSD y del xexmenu correspondan con las que tu tienes, Ésto puedes verlo por ftp.
Si pegas ese codigo, te bloquea el acceso a xbox live, para que no se te conecte y no te baneen, pero te deja conectarte a internet para otras cosas, como puede ser la descarga de caratulas, de actualizaciones de juegos (TU), o el Xlink kai.
Así te arrancaría por defecto el FSD, y si al arrancar la xbox dejas el boton X apretado te arrancaría en xexmenu.

4º Una vez que tienes el archivo de textos guardado, cambias la extension .txt por .ini, y le das el nombre Launch, de tal manera que te queda Launch.ini
5º Copias el Launch.ini dentro de la carpeta installer.
6º Copias la carpeta installer al disco duro interno, en la raiz, lo puedes hacer por ftp, o con usb a traves de xexmenu.
7º En la xbox abres xexmenu y buscas la carpeta installer, dentro encuentras el default.xex, lo ejecutas.
8º Se lanza el dashlaunch en la xbox y te pregunta que si quieres instalarlo, le das al boton A (el verde), así varias veces hasta que te lo instale, cuando termine le das a salir y se te apaga la consola.
9º Leí que recomendaban desconectarla de la corriente 10 segundos en este punto, y luego ya la enciendes y ya te debería arrancar el FSD directamente, y descargarte las caratulas, TU's, etc.

A mi tras leer todo esto sigue sin descargarme caratulas, que conste que ya he instalado el launch y de hecho el ftp me fue a la primera pero lo de las caratulas no lo consigo. Una pregunta usais usuario de la web covers.jq*** (no lo recuerdo ahora mismo) o no poneis nada, yo he intentado registrarme en la web pero no puedo. Tambien lo he intentado con el fsd indexer pero no puedo.

Bueno... a la espera de la confirmacion
y de paso, de confirmarse mi consulta anterior,... si bien hay muchos hilos referidos a la coneccion a internet de la consola para bajar caratulas, el xlink kai, etc.. no me qqueda claro si tengo que hacer los mismos procedimientos para una cosa como para la otra.. es decir.,.. ami lo unico que me interesa es descargar caratulas, screenshots, actualizar los TU, etc.. nada mas.. no me interesa el xlink kai... me tengo que remitir a conectar la xbox por cable al moden para que conecte a internet y automaticamente descargue caratulas y actualizaciones y listo? simple como eso?.. o hay que abrir algun puerto y/o blockear otros como lei por ahi con el xlink kai..( obviando el liveblok, y el livestrong que eso ya estaria configurado).. :-?

comentarte que me resolvieron la duda en otro hilo, mira veras segun me comentan si que puedes meter el launch.ini despues de instalar,en cuanto a lo de tenerlo ya en la consola, no creo tenerlo porque al instalarlo no vi que en pantalla me pusiera que el launch.ini habia sido instalado ya que no lo meti en la carpeta installer cuando realice dicha instalación, por eso no está pero bueno al parecer da igual porque puedes meterlo luego en el raiz del hdd1 y así te ahorras disgustos con un arranque erroneo.
