Just insert the disc and play/watch/listen.
No need to press reset once, twice or three times for boot mode selection. Simply insert CD or DVD and AUTODETECT will do everything for you. DVD Video, PS2 and PSX are automatically detected by G.2.
You do not need that 'mode select' because it plays almost anything in default mode - just put the disk in and close the tray. But again, if someone wants those messy features (like press this, hold that, wait for etc.) they can be added by simple flash upgrade.
No need to remember manual for G.2!

Auto SLEEP mode
Legal : G.2 Mod is the World FIRST and only legal design for SP2 completely blank and re-writable chip for PS2. It uses a revolutionary Recovery Mode which allow to flash the EEprom content from a programmed EEprom, Blank EEprom, or even EEprom with corrupted Data. It uses a 512Kb Flash on board to load tools and programs.
Compatible with all the applications written for Playstation2.
Absolutely no patches are applied to BIOS and/or Controller in it’s Default Legal State.
When others devices argue about the reason why they circumvent SP2 checks (mostly for claiming that they allow homebrew to boot), this device SIMPLY DIDN’T CIRCUMVENT SP2 CHECKS in it’s default legal state.
