As most of you may have heard Team Origa, the people behind the original PS2 chips have revealed their Gamecube Chip project. After being contacted by the leader of the project a few weeks ago we were skeptical of the true existence of a chip. However, with convincing photos and webcam images the Origa Team have proven the existence of their chip. The project was later revealed to the public creating uncertainty throughout the scene of the true reality of the chip's existence... Like us they were soon brought around.
Now the team have made significant progress today with the first running of a homebrew file from a burnt disc on the Gamecube. This afternoon after few people witnessed the great progress made our friend from the Origa Team contacted me and sent me a video of the disc being placed into a cube drive and loading up. The demo can be seen running in the background on a TV.
The video file is attatched below and is 21mb in a compressed file. For those with slower connections I will be taking some screenshots and posting them this evening.
