Kai Huan en [url escribió:www.ign.com[/url]]IGN: Focusing back onto RedOctane, can you tell us any details about Guitar Hero III?
Kai Huang: We are currently working with Neversoft and they are not only one of the best developers within Activision, I also think they're one of the best developers in the world. We are currently working on Guitar Hero III for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii and I can assure fans that what we are working on for Guitar Hero is taking the series to a whole new level. There will be online play, more downloadable music and features that make the offline multiplayer better.
IGN: One of the criticisms of Guitar Hero II was the rather hardcore song selection. Is Guitar Hero III going to return to the more mainstream line-up of the first game? Does it make it harder to pick the songs since you introduced the co-operative mode in Guitar Hero II?
Kai Huang: We have got a lot of experience after working on two games and we know that's it all about the music. We have to look at all the songs to make sure they have good parts for both lead guitar and bass. But it's actually quite hard to find songs that are fun for both guitar and bass. After including different parts in Guitar Hero II we now have a little more experience and hopefully we will make better song selections in Guitar Hero III.
We spend a lot of time on the song selection because it's a big part of the game. But there are still many songs that we select for the game because we know they would work really but we just can't get the licence to include them in the game. Which is a real shame.
