Half-Life 2 on Xbox runs smooth...
Valve have already confirmed that Half-Life 2 is coming to Xbox, but now they've gone one step further. Apparently, Gabe Newell - Valve's managing director - has confirmed it's well up-and-running. "We have it running on Xbox right now, but a decision on how and when we'll release it is reliant on our ongoing conversations with Microsoft."
Even better news is that the Xbox version will be almost identical to the PC one, being only slightly inferior in the graphics department. Word also has it that all of the PC version's facial animation, physics and musculature systems will be in there, too!
By fractionally reducing the detail level of each creature, Valve say they can guarantee the game engine will run at optimum smoothness so the carnage continues uninterrupted, which can only be good news.
As yet there's no release date, with the PC version shipping first. But if they have code running on the big black box already, that version won't be far behind.
esperemosssssssss que sea verdad >D
