Mientras aquí os dejo las impresiones de un usuario de la beta y una sintesis de ellas hecha por mí:
Yes I've played the beta. I played it all day and I must say Treyarch has done an awesome job on this game. Now onto my impressions. Everything that was in Call of Duty 4 has been improved. To me I found the graphics to be a little bit better. One thing I like about World at War is the gibs. I shoot a guy with the rocket launcher and body parts went everywhere. It's not going to be like Gears of War 2 where everything comes off. The only body parts that will come off are the legs, and arms from what I could tell. I've gotten many headshots, but did not see the head come off.
Now onto the gameplay it's the same just like Call of Duty 4, but well of course set in World War 2 era. The weapons are really good, and fun to use. My current favorite weapon that I'm using is the Type 99 Light Machine Gun with a bipod. I just love setting up my Type 99 with the bipod and unloading on the dolts who get in my away. You still have the normal perks from Call of Duty 4, but the only one that I didn't see was Overkill what would let you use to main weapons. The best new perk that I like is Second Chance it combines Last Man Standing and being a medic. So if someone else has the Second Chance they can revive you if you're in last stand. The new grenades are awesome as well. I like using the sticky grenade on snipers and watching them run around crazy and seeing them blow up. The flare grenade comes in handy on Makin which is swamp map. It brights up the area you are around and blinds the enemy.
The maps in the beta are Makin, Castle, and Roundhouse. I found Roundhouse to be the best so far because it's a huge map they lets you use the tanks. Roundhouse is located in a train yard that has been abandoned. If you're a sniper this would be the best map to do it on. There is a catwalk that is outside and you can just pick off the enemies that don't see you. Castle is located in a small Japanese town/garden/palace if you want to call it that. This is a map if you like short to medium range battles. There are some really good hiding spots to snipe, but will keep those a secret for right now. Like I said early Makin is a swamp type map. This is a good long range map. I didn't enjoy this map that much.
The kill streaks in this game rock. If you get 3rd kill streak you get a recon plane to locate the enemies and it last about 30 seconds just like in CoD4. For the 5th kill streak you get a artillery barrage, and lasted about 30 seconds. This time unlike the air strike in CoD4 it's harder to kill the enemies. One thing I liked was it would slow you down if a shell comes near you. For the 7th kill streak you get the dogs. This is going to be the best kill streak. The dogs last for a full 60 seconds. These dogs will chase you down like there is no tomorrow. It can be easy to kill them if you're out in the open if not might as well let them kill you.
I know this is not the best impression, but I thought I would like to share my opinion in the beta. If you enjoy CoD4 you will love WaW. Yes I know the game is coming a few days after Gears of War 2, but Gears of War 2 isn't every ones game so there will be many many people playing online when it comes out. So I hope to see some of you on the battlefield.

Ve los gráficos un poco mejorados
Hay desmembramientos de brazos y piernas, pero no de cabezas
El gameplay es igual que cod4 pero en la WWII
Las armas estan bien hechas y son divertidas
Las ventajas son mas o menos las mismas, pero el prefiere la que combina ultima batalla con la habilidad de médico.
Hay tres mapas: Castillo, Makin?? y Roundhouse.
Explica las rachas, diciendo que es mas difícil matar con la artilleria que con los atauqes aereos del COD4 y que los perros duran 60seg.

No dice como la consiguió, tan solo que ha estado jugando con desarrolladores del juego
El usuario es de Ohio.
Dice que en la beta no hay camuflajes para las armas.
Los controles son los mismos y que le parece incluso mas divertido que el 4
Según el puedes amar o odiar a los tanques ya que son cruciales en mapas como rondhouse
No se puede escalar arboles en la beta, dice que la habilidad correspondiente no llega a alcanzarse
