The Fall 2011 Xbox LIVE Update Program is now officially CLOSED.
We want to THANK YOU for taking the time to help us test out the latest dashboard update along with entertainment applications that recently released. Your assistance and feedback are greatly appreciated and we hope that you stay tuned to Major Nelson where we will announce future program opportunities to test out the latest in Xbox Entertainment before the rest of the world.
Important Close Out Information for EVERYONE:
Effective 1/3/2012 -- your Xbox console is no longer registered in the Xbox LIVE Update program and you will notice that the "Pre-Release" Hub is no longer present on your dashboard.
All support inquiries can be submitted to 1-800-4-MY-XBOX or via
www.xbox.com -- through standard regional support channels.
Your access to the Connect Portal and Xbox.com Private Forums will end within the next week as we completely close out the program.
Pre-Release Application Information for Spain and Canada:
The following information applies only to pre-release participants in Spain or Canada.
There are still three (3) applications that released into pre-release that will not officially launch until early 2012. As the program ends, these applications will no longer appear in the Apps Marketplace, but those that had downloaded them previously will still be able to access them via My Apps, Quick Play, or Xbox Guide. This is applicable to the following three apps in their respective regions and they will continue to be available for those that had previously downloaded them until we officially launch the final versions.

AFTER we launch the final versions in early 2012, a final user action will be required to obtain the final version by "delete" and "redownload" of the app. When we release the final version you will start to receive an error message "Can't launch... <app name>" on the pre-release version which should prompt you to take the following actions to obtain the final version of the application. Note that doing the actions below BEFORE the final version is released will terminate your pre-release access to this content.
Confirm that the Apps are "officially released" and once again available in the Apps Hub or Apps Marketplace
Navigate to Settings --> Storage and DELETE all instances of the applications listed above
Reboot Console --> the app will no longer show up in QuickPlay, My Apps, or Xbox Guide
Navigate to the Apps Hub or Apps Marketplace and redownload the application to obtain the FINAL version
