XBOX-SCENE escribió:Earlier tonight I flashed my 46d hitachi to the OPA 2.0 firmware. It said it was 100% afterwards but when I hooked my box back up my tray would not open up. The center green light in the ring of lights flashed rapidly and the dashboard would say opening. I thought I had bricked my drive. My computer wouldn't even recognize it anymore. The way I fixed it and got it back into modeb goes like this. Most cdrom drives have an emergency eject on them. There is a hole on the front of the drive usually, where if you stick a paper clip into it the drive will pop open. I looked for one on the front of the hitachi but it wasn't there. What I did notice however, under the tray was the piece that slides to eject and close the tray. It's a white bar. What you need to do is stick a small screwdriver in there and push it on this bar until your tray pops open. After that you need to hook the drive up to your computer and plug in the xbox360 power cable. When the console turns on the drive will close and if you had a previous sucessful flash, the drive should be in modeb. If not then the slax cd should work no problem. Once you get the drive recognized in windows again run the restore.bat. From there you can attempt to reflash. For whatever reason I couldn't get the OPA 2.0 to work, so I reverted back to 1.3 and my drive is in full working order. Hopefully this will help out others like me who thought that their drives were bricked. Also I was using the SiL3112 chipset.
