in Hitachi disk drive V. 46/47/59!
NOTE: The error is not caused by the orig bats, but caused by
the way CMD negotiates the commands within the bats!
===============================================================
]]] Fixes
The update should (SHOULD) solve bad sector calls, during
the first attempt of flashing (or) restoring of the dive!
If these errors are witnessed throughout the restore/flashix
process,it may result in an unsuccessful flashix/restore
attempt, excessive read errors, and/or cause bad flash
scenarios to occur! eg. "3RLOD" after flashing!
Until now, running flashix/restore.bat multiple times or
until the absences of errors is witnessed, was the only
sure fire way to get 100 compliance!
===============================================================
]]] Usage
NOTE: "Windows Powertoy" is no longer needed, nor is having to
"dir" using the CMD prompt to the "iXtreme-HitachiAll-RTMv3"
folder to run restore.bat X [or] flashix.bat X 1234
- Simply Unrar the folder in the iXtreme-HitachiAll-RTMv3 folder
- Chose yes when asked to replace existing files
- Make sure the drive can be seen in windows 2000/XP-SP2/Vista
- dbl click the bat you want to use. thats it!
