John Bauer, Nintendo's executive vice president, has retired from the company after nearly nine years.
John Bauer will retire from Nintendo at the end of March 2003 after joining in 1994. During his time he has helped see over Nintendo's finance, credit, human resources, information services, as well as other administrative functions.
Nintendo of America's Tatsumi Kimishima had this to say:
"John Bauer has been a tremendous asset to Nintendo, making a substantial impact during his long tenure with us. We're very sad to see him leave, and, of course, wish him well in the opportunities that lie ahead."
