Me ha gustado bastante el Mafia pero se nota que la mecánica ya tiene sus años, a pesar de los gráficos renovados. La historia está bien pero la esperaba algo más ambiciosa. Muy recomendable, la verdad. Supongo que en su día me hubiera impresionado más.

Iba con expectativas bastante altas tras un Far Cry 3 que me gustó mucho y un Far Cry 4 que platiné encantado, pero me ha decepcionado un poco. La forma de contar la historia es súper cutre, dividida en tres mini tramas que no importan a nadie, y abusando del mismo recurso siempre para avanzar la historia en las misiones de los malos, que una vez vale que te aturdan y te pillen, pero a la enésima vez se vuelve súper estúpido todo, además repitiendo en casi todas dichas escenas lo mismo. El mapa se divide en tres zonas que básicamente se podría resumir en repetir tres veces seguidas un juego corto de cinco horas. La variedad de las misiones principales es muy escasa. Una vez consigues el helicóptero, los puestos de la secta no tienen mucho misterio. La IA es lo más tonto que me he echado a la cara: en 16 horas he visto a mi acompañante caerse del helicóptero que estaba manejando, ayudantes que no se movían de delante de una torreta sin dejarme poder usarla, hasta que he tenido que pegarle un tiro y revivirlo para poder ponerme con ella, metiéndose en mitad de los tiroteos... por no decir de los NPCs, donde estuve tres minutazos para entregar una misión porque hasta que no se apagó un fuego cercano no dejaban de estar en combate, y lo mismo cada vez que pasaba una puta camioneta de la secta por alguna carretera cercana. Detalles que pueden parecer tontos pero desesperan y empañan la experiencia.

A favor, el mapeado sigue siendo una maravilla, aunque no tan atractivo que en FC3 y 4. El gunplay me ha parecido de mucha calidad, y haciendo las misiones secundarias gana mucho, pues es donde parece han metido la carne en el asador a la hora de ofrecer buenas misiones

Terminamos el año con un beatm em up NUEVO! para Mega Drive. Se hizo larga la espero pero qué juegazo tenemos entre manos. Terminado el modo arcade un parde veces y haciendo una ruta bastante larga en el modo original ya podemos decir que est juego merece mucho la pena. Y que si salieran en plataformas actuales por unos 20€ se vendería bastante bien. Increíble que esto salga de Mega Drive.

Mola mucho que este mismo año hayamos disfrutado también de Streets of Rage 4. Tremendo.

El Demon's de los mejores remake que he jugado si no el mejor, 3 vueltas que le he dado xD.

El The Last Of Us 2 al principio me costó engancharme, pero después me ha parecido una maravilla, a nivel técnico a veces te hace cuestionarte si de verdad es un juego de PS4.

Cierro el año con este juegazo. No me lo esperaba tan bueno, pensaba que simplemente intentaba rentabilizar el tirón de Silent Hill PT y que no seria un RE al estar en primera persona. Sin embargo la ambientación de la casa recuerda muchísimo a la del RE Remake (que es mi favorito), empieza muy fuerte y tiene peleas con Bosses muy sorprendentes. Creo que pierde un poco de fuelle cuando sales de la casa, pero en general puedo decir que es mi 2º RE Favorito.

Añado casi todo el año de golpe, que por unos motivos u otros lo he ido dejando y se me pasó completamente actualizar el hilo. Ya que no voy a hacer una mini reseña de cada juego, creo que este año haré un Top 5 con lo mejor que he jugado. Eso sí, he jugado a cosas muy interesantes y va a ser difícil quedarse solamente con unos pocos.

    The Last of Us 2
Para mí el juego del año si valoramos los juegos como industria y gran producción. Me ha llenado a todos los niveles y creo que se merece todo el reconocimiento que se está llevando.

    Persona 5 Royal
Lo he disfrutado durante más de 100 horas y estoy esperando ya la secuela con mucho hype. Me parece increíble cómo han sido capaces de hacer un juego tan largo en el que en ningún momento se acusa la fatiga.

    Monster Hunter Iceborne
Han llevado la saga a un nuevo nivel para el gran público y gracias a la expansión hemos vuelto a disfrutar de una buena dificultad con el rango G. Eso sí, necesario jugar offline y en solitario y no depender solo del online.

    Hades
Soy un jugador habitual de juegos indies y este lo tenía desde el Early Acess. Una jugabilidad que funciona perfecta y una narrativa muy novedosa. Unos de los grandes del año sin duda.

    Xenoblade Chronicles
No puedo hacer un top y no meter uno de mis juegos favoritos de la historia. Para mí, es un juego que lo tiene todo. Lástima que técnicamente Switch no dé más de sí.

Último juego del año. He de decir que al principio del juego me costó sentirme enganchado por la historia, que al final es lo más importante, pero ha ido mejorando a medida que pasaban los capítulos y, finalmente, me ha gustado bastante. Aunque lo he jugado en PS5 y en algunas cinemáticas había algunos errores visuales que según he visto en Youtube no deberían aparecer, por lo que no sé si es cosa de algún problema de retrocompatibilidad, de la consola...

Despido el año con esta aventura de Guerrilla, que me ha sorprendido gratamente después de su último trabajo.

El desarrollo de la historia es correcto durante buena parte del juego, con un par de giros que hacen que termine bastante alto. A mi personalmente me ha gustado lo que plantea, me parece original y tengo ganas de ver como continua. Tiene un LORE muy currado e interesante.

El gameplay es muy entretenido, la caza de máquinas, con todos sus detalles es muy satisfactoria y se controla estupendamente, acabas haciendo verdaderos malabares con las distintas armas y posibilidades. Precisamente la masificación de máquinas hace que el viaje rápido sea aconsejable durante buena parte de la aventura si no quieres que se vuelva eterno, esto no tiene que considerarse un punto negativo. El mapa es grande y las distancias entre misiones amplia.
Existe una buena variedad de enemigos, armas y atuendos. Es muy completo.

En el apartado técnico el juego destaca sobre todo en algunos paisajes, bajo cierta iluminación, en unas animaciones fluidas y en la representación de las máquinas. Su punto más alto diría que son en algunos interiores que forman parte de la historia. Destacar que lo comencé en PS4, donde pese a lucir estupendamente se hacía evidente que los 30 FPS eran escasos. En PS5, que es donde lo he terminado luce mejor y con un tasa de 60 FPS que se agradece mucho y le sienta de maravilla al gameplay.

Otra gran producción de SONY para despedir un año cargado de títulos de calidad y de pocas decepciones.

Pues terminé el año con uno de los juegos más rallantes que he jugado, y un DLC que va al turrón, acción sin más pretensiones. Del Control me gusta bastante el combate y la progresión. No me gusta tanto el escenario en el que se desarrolla, la paranoia total de historia que roza lo delirante, el pasar varias veces por el mismo escenario...y el ir un poco acojonado muchos ratos XD XD XD [mad] [mad] [mad]

The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan
Lo jugué con mi novia ya que este tipo de películas / juegos interactivos le encantan. No llega a la altura de Until Dawn, pero es un juego entretenido. Seguramente la falta de carisma de los personajes ha hecho que no lo haya disfrutado tanto como lo hice con Until Dawn. De todos modos se disfruta y los escenarios del barco (en especial el uso de ángulos de la cámara e iluminación) son espectaculares. Los escenarios pueden resultar repetitivos, pero aun así una aventura recomendada (sobretodo en pareja).

Black Mesa
Brutal. El Half Life original ya me fascinó en su momento hace dos décadas y pese a que este "remake" (por llamarlo de alguna manera, dado que ha sido desarrollado durante años por fans) no esté quizá a la altura de juegos actuales, el gameplay me ha parecido igual de perfecto que hace 20 años. Esto es un FPS directo al grano, las mecánicas son perfectas y cada enfrentamiento se disfruta más que el anterior a medida que te haces a cada arma. Pese a su duración (unas 20h calculo) no se ha hecho nada repetitivo, el ritmo del juego es fresco, sabiendo cuando meterte en cada situación y cuando mostrarte mecánicas nuevas para que nunca resulte repetitivo. Especial mención al último tramo del juego, me ha parecido soberbio.

The Stanley Parable
Experiencia corta pero entretenida. La sátira continua así como el narrador son lo más destacable del juego. Se pueden sacar muchas conclusiones del juego y sus múltiples finales hacen que rejugarlo sea divertido, aunque creo que es un juego que se disfruta de una sentada, dado que en menos de dos horas es posible verse todos sus desenlaces.

Outlast
Tensión y acojone continuo. Es brutal lo que propone y la sensación indefensa de no poder afrontar a los malos te mantiene tenso de principio a fin. Como pega le pondría la repetición de ciertas mecánicas en la jugabilidad a lo largo del juego. Son varias las ocasiones en que se repite el mismo patrón, de tener que encontrar / activar ciertos interruptores mientras un enemigo te sigue. La primera vez mola pero la segunda ya empieza a perder la gracia. De todos modos tiene algunos momentos muy épicos donde sientes que se te va a salir el corazón del pecho de la tensión. Sin duda este juego se tiene que jugar de noche, a oscuras con cascos y volumen bien alto.
