Artísticamente es precioso, como todo lo que saca Japan Studio, la manera que tiene de contar la historia con coloridas y detalladas viñetas estilo comic, los escenarios parecen sacados de un cuento de la época victoriana y la música encaja muy acorde con la aventura de Kat. El principal problema que le veo es la repetición de las misiones, que básicamente se basan en acabar con los enemigos, llevar cierto objeto a una zona en concreto o hacer de recadero como en el 99% de RPGs. Ayuda que el mimo puesto en el juego haga que estas misiones (pese a repetitvas) se hagan amenas y entretenidas, pero llega un momento en la aventura que te das cuenta que todo el juego va a ser así. A ello hay que sumarle que pese a que la arriesgada apuesta de jugar con la gravedad como principal mecánica de juego, los combates muchas veces se vuelven algo caóticos al perder la noción de la gravedad. No ayuda que la PS Vita no sea la consola más cómoda para jugar de esta manera (movimientos de giroscopio, mucho movimiento de stick analógico, usar la pantalla táctil, etc). Quizá en pantalla grande con un Dual Shock que tienen mayor recorrido de las setas analógicas ayuden a que controlar a Kat sea más sencillo, pero en la Vita puede convertirse en un suplicio. De todas maneras se hace una aventura entretenida, aplaudo a Japan Studio por habérsela jugado con una mecánica así de arriesgada y haberle puesto tanto cariño a todo el juego. En un futuro le daré una oportunidad a su secuela en PS4, donde quizá jugarlo me resulte más cómodo que en la portátil de Sony.

    Juego muy divertido. Estaba viendo the witcher de netflix, y escuccho a un actor secundario, y automáticamente me empezó a salir una sonrisa en la cara porque su voz de doblaje era la de Drax. Drax y Rocket son unos personajes enormes,y las conversaciones a lo largo del juego son divertidisimas, con prácticamente la totalidad del doblaje de las películas originales. Se sienten completamente como una tercera película de los guardianes. No tienen nada que envidiar en guión ni construcción de personajes y narrativa a estas.

    También el juego tiene sombras. Un estilo de combate muy caótico en el que muchas veces no sabes lo que pasa, combates repetitivos, historia a la que le sobran un par de horas para ser más redonda y gráficamente es bueno, pero no sorprende.

    Aun así, muy buen resultado final, y un Guardianes de la galaxia 2 puede ser algo mucho más tocho si mejoran en los puntos que fallan y mantienen la esencia.

Cortito y además ni fu ni fa. Gráficamente llamativo pero poco más. Ni hay acción apenas, poca exploración y poca chicha en general.

Un juego que para mí quedará en el olvido como muchos otros del montón de relleno de Game Pass.

Annapurna Interactive saben como ofrecer experiencias audiovisuales como ningún otro estudio. Muchos de sus juegos suelen ser viajes espirituales y con The Artful Escape nos encontramos justamente eso. En él interpretamos el papel de Francis Vendetti, joven músico y sobrino del archiconocido artista de folk Johnson Vendetti. Todos esperan que su sobrino herede la grandeza y raíces musicales de su tío y en el juego nos encontramos en esta montaña rusa de sentimientos en busca de encontrarnos a nosotros mismos. El "juego" (si se le puede llamar así, porque más bien es una experiencia audiovisual o cuento) se podría considerar un pseudo plataformas / juego rítmico musical, pese a que aquí el "game over" o decisiones erróneas no existen y simplemente se trata de seguir la historia, que no nos llevará más de 3 o 4 horas en completar. Este viaje alucinógeno es como tomar LSD; en muchas ocasiones nada tendrá sentido, conoceremos personajes de lo más disparatados y el juego es colorido hasta la saciedad, con paletas sobresaturadas que quedarán plasmadas en tu retina.

En un juego donde la música es un pilar fundamental de la historia la BSO ha de estar a la altura y The Artful Escape lo clava de lleno. Con una mezcla de piezas de glamrock, folk, funk y rock psicodélico, todo encaja y esos solos virtuosos y electrizantes de guitarra son siempre una delicia de escuchar. El juego además tiene numerosos guiños a artisas como Pink Floyd, Hendrix o Guns n Roses entre otros. Los momentos más estelares del juego son cuando cruzamos los bellísimos escenarios al ritmo de la música o esos encuentros contra los "bosses". Algo que hubiera deseado es que los momentos de plataforma o juegos rítmicos musicales hubieran supuesto mayor reto, pero entiendo que este no es el propósito del juego. The Artful Escape no quiere ser un juego complicado, quiere ser un viaje y hay que entender que esta es la decisión artística, ya que es un juego que cualquiera puede disfrutar; adultos que nunca hayan tocado un mando, niños pequeños con ganas de disfrutar de los escenarios o asiduos a los videojuegos que quieran probar algo diferente. Si os van los viajes audiovisuales como Journey o Subnautica, es muy probable que esta aventura psicodélica sea de vuestro agrado.

El tapado del año, el juego que yo haría si hiciera juegos. Jugabilidad molona, técnicamente muy molón, y hecho por cuatro tíos. Alucinante, salido de la nada.

Pasada la campaña en coop con los amigos, muy interesante el sistema de barajas, una vuelta de tuerca interesante al concepto. Recomendable y muy entretenido

Con sus cosas, pero el rey ha vuelto. De pillarlo y viciarlo a muerte sin parar, retador, técnicamente con luces y sombras pero es lo más nítido que he visto en la vida xD. Deseando que habiliten la campaña en cooperativo y que expandan la historia.

Pues muy chulo para ser el primer juego del estudio. A nivel artístico y técnico ni una sola pega, es bonito a rabiar. La historia está bien sin ser una locura y tiene su tono bien cogido. El combate le veo algún pero tipo la cámara o la gestión del blanco, por lo demás bien. Eso sí, el juego es difícil de pelotas, me lo acabé poniendo en fácil que soy un manco sideral [+risas]

Un juego pequeño, bastante compacto y robusto en todo lo que ofrece, sin contenido de paja. Todo lo que hace, lo hace bien, salvo en una cosa que vengo observando que empieza a ser habitual: Su dificultad al final del juego. No es que pegue un subidón brutal, pero si lo suficiente como para dejarte con un saber de boca un poco agridulce. Y la verdad, que no entiendo el motivo de estas decisiones. ¿Quieres hacer un juego dificil? Genial, hazlo desde el principio y lo disfrutare, pero no me rompas el ritmo haciendo un tramo final un tanto desesperante.

Pero bueno, al final es un juego cortito que merece la pena que se le de una oportunidad, ya que recoge todo lo bueno del genero y lo condensa en unas pocas horas.

Y con este juego, despido el año. Personalmente, un buen año. Y no por la cantidad o calidad de los juegos, si no porque vuelvo a tener tiempo libre para disfrutar de este hobby y vuelvo a poder permitirme jugar a todo los juegos que salgan en cualquier consola, que viendo el futuro que se nos viene encima, promete ser de puro vicio. ;)

Pues nada, el año no da para más y lo termino con un clásico. Como Metroid es más bien flojete comparándolo con sus hermanos pequeños y mayores, como juego en general es entretenido y bien producido teniendo en cuenta la consola de donde proviene. Obviamente mi mayor queja al juego es que es excesivamente lineal. Rompe bastante la esencia metroidvania y pierde parte de la originalidad que hace tan especial a sus predecesores. Los enemigos no me han fascinado demasiado, al igual que sus escenarios. Pese a lo lineal que es hay un punto en concreto en la aventura donde accedes a una zona un tanto laberíntica y para colmo hay putas paredes invisibles... ¡¡PAREDES INVISIBLES en un Metroid!! Una decisión artística que no he entendido y que me hizo estar dando vueltas durante una hora hasta tener que recurrir a encontrar la solución en una guía. La historia tampoco me ha terminado de fascinar, aunque ninguna de las historias Metroid lo ha hecho tampoco. Juego entretenido sin más.

Y resumiendo el 2021, como siempre hubiera deseado poder jugar a más juegos (la falta de tiempo y responsabilidades es lo que tienen), pero me he topado con grandes juegos y alguna que otra sorpresa inesperada. De todo lo que he jugado este año sin duda mis títulos a destacar son It Takes Two (increíble compartir este viaje jugando acompañado, juego fresco y un homenaje a los videojuegos y al couch co-op), Her Story (rompe moldes y apuesta por un gameplay totalmente innovador, el único juego que realmente me ha hecho sentir como un detective), UnMetal (desternillante y humor a raudales de principio a fin, hay que jugarlo) y mención especial a Darq, Complete Edition (sin duda la sorpresa del año dado que desconocía por completo la existencia del juego, un pseudo Little Nightmares con plataformas y puzles muy inteligentes que suelen tener que ver con cambiar la orientación de los niveles). ¡Esperemos que este 2022 que se avecina esté repleto de más vicios todavía!

Más shmups en Game Boy. Jugar en Color en el último mod ips se me está haciendo un vicio enorme.
Ambos juegos sencillotes como suele ser habitual en la máquina pero 2 joyitas. SolarStriker de la propia Nintendo muy directo al grano, clásico con poca variación en armas, rutina de enemigos... Nemesis, excelente port de Gradius, muy simple pero adictivo. La única pega es que rasca un poco, luego lo superó Gradius II por bastante.

Al final ha caído otro más antes de cerrar este extraño año.

Desde siempre me había llamado este juego, un RPG clásico, con unos gráficos bastante coloridos y bonitos y puzzles interesantes.... que tristemente no ha podido ofrecer nada más que eso.

La historia no hay por donde cogerla, muchas cosas directamente no te las cuentan ni hace ningún esfuerzo por explicartelas siquiera. Llegas al pueblo de turno, resuelves la mini quest cliché, y a por el siguiente. La dificultad en la recta final del juego es bastante pobre, y si bien la jugabilidad funciona como un reloj, le falta alguna mecánica que haga el juego un poco más interesante. Los personajes, olvidables todos, son completamente cliché y planos.

Por otra parte, este juego plantea algunos de los mejores y más originales puzzles que he visto en un RPG. Cuesta creer que habiendo salido este juego hace tantos años, todavía a día de hoy el 90% de los puzzles en los RPGs modernos sean de "Tira palanca, abre puerta, tira de siguiente palanca". Solo por eso y por una jugabilidad que, sin muchos alardes, funciona, se merece ya el aprobado. Podría haber dado mucho de sí si la historia estuviese un poco más cohesionada y mejor planificada, si se hubiesen atrevido con alguna mecánica adicional...

Por fin! Papá Hades derrotado... Una pasada de diseño, gameplay, artes... Una juegazo, como ya sabe la mayoría, aunque al final me ha terminado cansando.

Turno de este souls like con personalidad propia, con sus puntos fuertes y defectos.

La narrativa y demás me ha costado seguirla, no creo que este muy bien desarrollada o explicada, pese a que tiene un fondo muy interesante, debes esforzarte en seguir la trama por tu cuenta, en cambio la ambientación es sublime.

El apartado técnico cumple perfectamente, no sorprende pero al menos jugarlo en PS5 es una delicia, fluido y resultón, no necesito más.

Pero vamos a lo importante, la jugabilidad, me sorprende decir esto pero creo que supera a los Souls o por lo menos esta a la altura de estos últimos. La variedad que dan las distintas posturas, combinadas con el ninjitsu y la magia hacen el juego muy completo. Es exigente pero recompensa al jugador si esta atento combinando las distinta habilidades de armaduras y armas, además las ramas de evolución del personaje se notan naturales y nada forzadas. Me parece que es el juego que mejor sensación me ha trasmitido en combates con armas blancas.

Otro punto a destacar son los Bosses, tiene muchos memorables, pero creo alguno no esta a la altura.

La duración de la campaña principal creo que estará sobre las 40 horas, pero si haces las misiones secundarias y su versión de Ocaso (principales pero más difíciles) se te van 80 horas en un momento.

Me ha dejado con ganas de más, y por tanto seguiré con la nueva senda.

Última actualización del año y con ello me paso al hilo del 2022, que ya me ha dado tiempo a terminar alguna cosa. Haciendo balance, he jugado a muchas cosas y la gran mayoría han venido de la mano de Game Pass. Supongo que la falta de exclusivos en general ha tenido mucho que ver, ya que el panorama para 2022 pinta bastante diferente.

Unsighted (Series X)

A la altura de Ender Lilies y Metroid Dread sin ninguna duda, a no ser por su parte final que me ha parecido una mala forma de alargar el juego. A pesar de que es un juego con vista cenital, tiene todos los ingredientes de un metroidvania y así lo considero. Un juego muy al estilo de los Zelda 2D por mapeado y mazmorras, pero con más backtracking y un sistema de combate mucho más exigente.

La historia cumple y me ha resultado interesante la ambientación, mientras que tanto el apartado sonoro como gráfico son decentes. Uno de los mejores indie del año a pesar de que no ha salido en muchas quinielas.

Halo Infinite (Series X)

En general, me ha dejado frío y no lo entiendo. El gunplay es perfecto y el mundo abierto de primeras me llamó mucho la atención, pero es que la saga tiene algo que no encaja conmigo. Lo he dejado instalado por si cae alguna partida al multijugador de vez en cuando, pero teniendo Splatoon 3 en el horizonte igual ya reservo mi tiempo para él.

Para mi ha sido todo un descubrimiento, pienso disfrutar todo lo que pueda de este, dar un descanso con un par de juegos y ponerme con la secuela.
@INCUBUS @onyvla @pers46 yo lo empecé en su día y lo dejé despues del primer boss, venía de jugar Demon's de PS3 y Bloodborne en poco tiempo, pero leyendoos me han entrado muchas ganas de pillar el remaster para PS5 [facepalm] malditos XD

Yo lo vine de descubrir a finales de 2020, le seguía la pista desde hacía tiempo pero no me había decidido a pillarlo. Vi una buena oferta y flipé. Tanto me gustó, que el 2 no he esperado a que baje tanto de precio. Lo pillé hace como un mes por 22 euros. Y aunque voy más suave (solo he termiando las dos primeras regiones) ya llevo más de 20 horas y las que me quedan.

Incluso me gusta más el sistema de que sean escenarios en vez de todo abierto. Te pierdes menos y sabes a lo que vas. Siempre intento limpiarlos todos, buscando los kodomas esos y demás secretos. Después tienes infinidad de combos, magias, la variedad de armas y cómo especializarte en cada una. Es un mundo. Luego lo puedes rejugar en la senda del samurai que es más difícil todavía, por lo que seguir subiendo de nivel tiene sentido. Las misiones del ocaso que son misiones repetidas pero con más y mejores enemigos, etc...

No me extraña que la peña llegue a nivel 750, si no recuerdo era el nivel máximo en el uno. Yo lo dejé como por nivel 200 o así.
no sé si los habéis jugado o no, pero los Nioh tienen mucho de los Ninja Gaiden (ambos juegos del Team Ninja), así que si no los habéis jugado darles un tiento.

yo Nioh lo jugué casi al mismo tiempo que Horizon ZD y Nier Automata. pedazo primer trimestre el de 2017, el mejor que yo recuerde. a ver qué pasa con el de este 2022 que también tiene tela.

y Nioh 2 por aquí lo tengo en pausa con una parida con más de 60hs de juego. pero entre que no era el momento para jugarlo (a veces me pasa) y cierto enemigo que no entra en pantalla... me atasqué. a ver si cuando termine con Elden Ring lo retomo y finiquito. aunque a esta segunda entrega no voy a sacarle el platino. a mi me gusta más el primero que el segundo, que también está genial
@onyvla Sí, los tres me los pasé en su día en Xbox y 360.

De todas formas yo diría que son muy, muy distintos. El Ninja Gaiden es difícil y tiene multitud de combos pero al final es un juego más tirando a arcade. El Nioh tiene bastante de rol (como los Souls) en cuanto que vas mejorando con cada arma, subes puntos de atritubos a tu bola, tienes multitud de armas y formas de golpear (con lo de las 3 poses), etc...

En el NG puedes saltar e impulstarte en las paredes, en Nioh no. Pero más que nada porque Ninja Gaiden viene siendo un juego clásico de acción en tercera persona mezclado con algo de plataformas. Y el Nioh es básicamente la fórmula del Souls. Es un juego más pausado, lleno de acción pero menos frenético.
@INCUBUS y no te falta razón. yo a lo que me refiero es a que han cogido muchos movimientos y ataques de los NG y los han implementado muy bien en los Nioh. yo también jugué los NG en Xbox, 360 y PS3 y al jugar a Nioh por primera vez no paraba de acordarme de los NG. el prota de Nioh tiene muchos movimientos de Ryu Hayabusa.

y lo de que es más pausado también, sin duda, lo es. pero con Nioh y los Souls pasa como con los NG, DMC o Bayonetta y los God of War, por ejemplo. los primeros que comento siempre van un par de marchas por encima.

de todas maneras lo dicho, Nioh me ha gustado más que Bloodborne y Dark Souls III (que también son dos joyas del 15 y también les he sacado sus platinos). pero, y me repito, ese plus de velocidad de Nioh le da un toque que me encanta.


PD: en cuanto a dificultad, un NG en Master Ninja es más difícil que cualquier Souls/soulslike
