XBMC-Emustation
Front end for some emulators, using XBMC
This is a pet project of mine and its a combination of a skin, python scripts and source edits to XBMC. So don't expect something spectacular.
I wanted something that looked like EmulationStation on the Xbox and the only way to do that was to make a skin for XBMC and use it's built in feature to launch .cut files.
But it wasn't that simple, I wanted menu loading instant and there was no simple way to do that with over 700 roms or a few hundred games, so I modified the XBMC source to bypass the folder check for xbe files. This worked for games, but not roms, so again had to think outside of the box and came up with a workaround I create static menus when you scan your roms. There are also a few other scripts I made to do other tasks, but hopefully you like what I have made and get some use out of it.

¿POR QUÉ? Con el emulador MessoXtras ya podíamos jugar a la Super Cassette Vision, pero la emulación era muy mejorable: algunos juegos no funcionaban (por ejemplo, el juego "Doraemon Nobita's Time Machine" no arrancaba), y en otros juegos había errores gráficos importantes, que a veces incluso impedían jugar (por ejemplo, el tercer nivel del juego "Lupin III" era imposible, por culpa de esos errores).
Por eso me puse a hacer este nuevo emulador EpochX, que tiene una emulación mucho mejor, basándose en un core mucho más moderno. Los errores gráficos ya no están, y además se puede jugar a bastantes juegos que antes no iban. Y... sí, ya podemos jugar al juego de Doraemon!!

Controles
Los controles son distintos en cada juego, y se pueden redefinir con la segunda opción del menú principal (pulsando Start sale este menú principal).
Pero normalmente, para empezar la partida hay que pulsar el botón BLANCO o bien el botón A. En unos pocos juegos como en los Pacman, la partida empieza pulsando Arriba o Izquierda.
Los controles normalmente son las 4 direcciones Arriba-Abajo-Izquierda-Derecha, y a veces uno o dos botones (normalmente son A y B). En algunos juegos (los que salen en color amarillo) se necesita un teclado para poder jugar.
Pulsando BACK, el emulador te pregunta si quieres salir. Con el botón A confirmamos que queremos salir, y con BACK volvemos al juego.
En algunos juegos, hay una opción de en el menú principal llamada "Machine configuration" que permite configurar la dificultad o el tipo de juego.
Por último, el emulador soporta una funcionalidad básica de grabar estado ("savestate"). Para grabar estado, hay que pulsar el STICK DERECHO (con el botón A confirmamos, y con BACK cancelamos), y para leer el estado hay que pulsar el STICK IZQUIERDO (y de nuevo, con A confirmamos). Esto es útil porque algunas maquinitas empiezan el juego a una velocidad muy lenta, y puede ser aburrido cuando ya somos expertos en ese juego... Entonces, si grabamos la partida cuando esta primera etapa ya ha pasado, podremos en siguientes partidas empezar a jugar ya en la parte "más interesante".

He publicado una importante actualización de MADrigalX, el port para Xbox que nos permite jugar a todos los simuladores de maquinitas "game and watch" que hizo MADrigal, en nuestra Xbox original.
Como novedades principales, incorpora un interfaz de usuario increible creado por el propio Luca "MADrigal" Antignano, y además se ha hecho una gran optimización que permite jugar a velocidad correcta ya a casi todos los juegos, incluso con el zoom habilitado! De los 59 juegos existentes, ahora 54 ya funcionan correctamente!
Miles de gracias a Luca "MADrigal" Antignano for crear estos increibles simuladores y el interfaz de usuario, y por dar permiso para hacer esto posible; también miles de gracias a Andre Leiradella (@leiradel) por su grandísimo trabajo convirtiendo estos simuladores a Lua y creando el intérprete!

This is an update of the MESS multi-emulator for Xbox.
IMPORTANT: If you had a previous version of MessoXtras installed in your Xbox and you want to keep the configuration files (for example the controller configurations that you have defined), do a backup of your folders "ini" and "cfg", install the new MessoXtras, and then replace the "ini" and "cfg" folders with your old folders (MessoXtras comes with generic configuration files, but you may want to keep your customized ones). Also, the "sta" folder contains your savestates, and you may also want to keep it. All the other files and folders can be overwritten with the new MessoXtras.

* New supported systems: Apple Macintosh Plus (hard disk images), Microbee 16 Standard, Microbee PC85 Premium, Microkey Primo B-64, Tomy Tutor, VTech Creativision
* Speed improved (less slowdowns now)
* Launching a game with the X button, we create an individual configuration file for that game (in the old version, configuration files were made for each system). With this trick, all the keyboard-based systems are playable even if you don't have a keyboard, because you can assign different button configurations per game.
* Now you can have your roms in DVDs, to save hard disk space (for example, you can save your favorite Philips CDi games in a DVD recorded in UDF format, in a folder named D:\roms\cdimono1, and then select this media with the white button in the rom selection menu).
* After you exit from a game, the menu will return to the previously selected system and rom.
* Fixed a bug in the Philips CDi emulation: now the game "The Apprentice" works!!
* All the games are included and playable in the Socrates Educational Video System (in the old release, only the basic BIOS games were available)

Estos procesadores se usan en multitud de dispositivos electrónicos: videoconsolas, videojuegos plug-and-play, reproductores multimedia... Una vez que tenemos hecha la emulación del procesador, si añadimos la emulación del resto de sus componentes, seremos capaces de emular todas estas máquinas. Así pues, MuchimeX aspira a emular toda esta gran cantidad de maquinas con procesadores de 16-bits de Sunplus
De momento, algunas consolas como la JungleTac's Sport Vii o algunos juegos Plug-and-Play de Jakks Pacific ya funcionan (aunque el sonido todavía no está emulado). La emulación es casi perfecta, excepto en lo que se refiere al sonido.
Como sorpresa final para la gente que tenga hijos, la consola V.smile de Vtech usa el mismo tipo de procesador Sunplus, así que en el futuro este emulador quizá sea capaz de conseguir una emulación parcial de la V.smile. De momento, algunos juegos de V.smile como los de Cenicienta o Ariel ya cargan, aunque no son jugables porque todavía no he emulado los controles.

Neko ProjectX is a PC-98 emulator for Xbox (it is a port of the emulator Neko Project II). The PC-98 is a family of Japanese computers, they can have a hard disk and 2 floppy disks units, so this can appear to be a bit complicated to use... but I have made this emulator very simple, so that you don't need to know much things about this machine to be able to play: simply select your game in the rom list, and play. Also, I have replaced the drop-down menu of the original emulator, by a main menu and some shortcuts, more comfortable to manage with a joypad

I did a lot of work on SaveStates since B6.0, but I don't quite feel they are perfect. There are instances where a save may not go through depending on where you are in the game. For example I cant always get a good save during the intro of Zelda OoT with 1964x11. I can't always reproduce it though.

DesmumeX es un emulador de Nintendo DS para Xbox. Está basado en la versión 0.9.11 de Desmume.
Por favor, no esperéis una emulación perfecta en muchas roms: este emulador todavía no está totalmente optimizado. De todas formas, esta versión ya permite jugar bastante bien a varios juegos.
IMPORTANTE: Para cambiar entre los distintos modos de visualización, pulsad el botón NEGRO (en la sección CONTROLES hay más información sobre esto). Si toda la acción del juego se desarrolla en una sola pantalla, la experiencia de juego será mucho mejor si elegimos mostrar sólo esa pantalla a resolución completa.
Este emulador sólo trabaja con roms descomprimidas.

* Fixed issue where the xbox would freeze ( get stuck in a loop ) when going to the favorites or game select menu on first load if your xbox controller analog sticks were out of calibration! Yes it was a nasty little logic error in my already over convoluted showscreenshot code... :lol: but that bug has finally been squashed! It was a tough one to track down but I finally got it.
* Fixed a long standing bug in the CD cache code that would crash the emu if the cache size was not evenly divisible by the sector size.
* Fixed issue where selecting a cue/iso/mp3 combination was not defaulting to the Neogenesis core like it should be.
* Fixed issue where setting "Autostart Last Played Game" to Yes would cause the emulator to either crash on game exit or not properly return to the correct current directory (depending on which version of NeoGenesisPlusGX you were using).
* Fixed issue when launching a game with a cut file would cause the emulator to either crash on game exit or not properly return to the correct current directory (depending on which version of NeoGenesisPlusGX you were using).
* Added CHD to the default emu filter list. Pushed BIN to the end of the list for easy removal if you use redump images.
* Added in support for CHD files local and networked! (both cores)
* Note to self: had to reverse the orders of functions called in lzma_codec_free cause the first one was killing the allocator needed to be released on the second one.
* Country tables were reversed for the Neogenesis and the Genesis Plus GX core.
* Fixed issue where synopsis info was not displaying for CD games. Also fixed an issue where the CD ID was not displaying properly. I'm not sure if this affects other emulator cores.
* Now displays global message "Using default game configuration." when default game configuration is set and no game configuration is found.
* No game exit transition displayed when game is autolanched.
NOTE TO SELF:
Need to modify GX core so it can play original CD's. Or find some means to be able to launch an original CD with the neogenesis core (from GX)

This is a port of PCSX-Reloaded to Xbox using hardware rendered graphics.
Note: This is still a work in progress and in pre-beta/alpha stages.
Knowen bugs:
- Scissor screwed after re-entering game from GUI until the game sets it again (usually makes menus look broken).
- Analog sticks stop working after re-entering from GUI (I think I know the issue, should be an easy fix).
- Fix rumble, it currently works but has a bug that causes it to say on sometimes.
Main remaining tasks:
- Explore speed optimizations further.
- Get built in cheats working.
- Get save states working.

PCSXBox - PSX Emulator for XBox v24 RC4
Updated to madmab edition interface CFv1b43. See "Interface Changelog.txt" or below since it is one change.
* Modified "Cheat Code List" screen so user can alternate between displaying the code information and the code description by pressing the "back" button. The default now is to to display the description and the code information will be displayed at the bottom as each code is selected.
* Implemented disc changing and disc select for PBP files with more than one disc in them.
* If you load a PBP with more than one disc there will be a new option in the game configuration screen. "Boot PBP Disc #" where you can select which disc you will boot. This allows you to select which image will be booted on first run.
* On the in-game menu the "Load New Disc Image" option will let you select which disc you want to switch to. The game configuration will change the "Boot PBP Disc #" to the last disc loaded... Seems like the correct thing to do. Let me know if it makes sense to do otherwise.
* Network share streaming now implemented for CHD and PBP images.
* Fixed issue where ISOopen was unecessarily opening CD images for read images. Thus creating an extra "unclosed" handle each time a game is run. Thus slowly eating free memory as well as keeping each loaded CD locked.
* Moved around pcsxbox internal SysPrintF code so that output from it would properly go to the xbox console.
* Fixed issue where CHD images were not working on Relax Shares.
* Fixed problem with certain games not being detected in the auto config database. It affected games with no DISC ID.. Typically beta or alpha demos.

Bueno, si te fijas alguno de los que he puesto son betas o como lo quieras llamar, son mejoras sobre versiones que se consideran estables. Esto puede hacer que juegos que no corrían bien ahora si lo hagan, pero también que hayan metido algún bug y un juego que antes iba de pm ahora no.
El unico fin del este hilo es poner la última versión conocida, que no quiere decir que sea la mejor..
