Alejo, por mucho que pueda que sea verdad que las marcas sean de Rare (cosa que sigo dudando) creo que Perfect Dark, por poner un ejemplo, es una licencia de Nintendo y jamás podría verse en otra consola

http://www.uspto.gov/web/menu/tm.html Si hubiera por aquí alguien experto en derecho podría aclararnos un poco más el asunto, pero que yo sepa el propietario de las marcas puede hacer lo que quiera con ellas.
Es verdad que gran parte de estos logros se los deben a ellos mismos por hacer esos juegos tan buenos, pero mirad a los que se separaron y luego crearon el Timesplitters, la verdad es que no han tenido tanto éxito como se esperaban por separados.
Eso está muy claro... pero tampoco se ha ido todo Rare a crear timesplitters ¿no? un pequeño grupo de Rare, compuesto por gente que puede ser más o menos competente.
Otro error, Alejo, Rare son los creadores de los juegos y Nintendo los productores. Vamos por ejemplo, es el mismo caso que el de una película, el propietario de ésta no es el director que la crea, si no los productores que ponen el dinero. El caso es el mismo(no los distribuidores como tú indicas).
Seguimos en las mismas, el dinero lo pone Nintendo, pero si los derechos siguen siendo de Rare, ésta en teoría puede hacer lo que quiera y pone muy claro en los juegos "**** is a trademark of Rare", te pego el ejemplo de Perfect Dark sacado del servicio de patentes de los EEUU (una mina de web)
