Microsoft Sells Bungie to Nintendo


Microsoft has just announced they have sold Bungie to Nintendo for $600 million. All future games from Bungie will be on Nintendo platforms including the sequel to XBox smash hit Halo:Combat Evolved tenatively called Halo 2. This news is rather shocking because Halo is currently the best selling game on the system. The reason behind the sell out is Microsoft's aquisition of ex-Nintendo developer RAREWARE earlier this year.

"The games RARE has in development for us are simply amazing. We sold Bungie so we could focus our efforts on funding RARE better. We feel that Halo 2 would to interfere with the sales with Perfect Dark Zero and it would better to focus on one. Trust me, Perfect Dark Zero is going to make you forget about any game Bungie could produce" -Ed Fries, Corporate Vice President of Games Content at Microsoft.

Nintendo has stated that its Texas based Retro Studios will be lending Bungie a hand in the development of Halo 2 now that its Gamecube bound.

"It is going to be interesting working with Bungie. We learned alot with developing Metroid Prime and I think this is a great opportunity to develop our skills further. I would not be surprised to see a certain Space Bounty Hunter make an appearance in Halo 2" - Steve Barcia, Executive Producer of the Nintendo hit Metroid Prime.

The purchase of Bungie is a sign that Nintendo is taking steps necessary to attract bigger and older audiences. More on this news as it breaks.


Pues ahi os dejo eso... Parece que Nintedo compro a Bungie, creador de Halo y vamos a ver Halo 2 y todos los demas de dicha compañia en nuestro Cube. Parece que Nintendo tambien esta jugando sucio...

PD esto es simplemente una broma, NO es real. Espero NO haberle alterado los nervios a nadie con este hilo. He hecho esto mas que nada para intentar cubrir tanta negatividad que se ve ultimamente en los usuarios de Nintendo. NINTENDO NO SE VA A NINGUNA PARTE
