"Sega has let slip that it intends to make a plethora of classic Sega titles available for Microsoft’s Xbox console in the coming months.

Vamos que no es solo UN juego



In an arrangement mirroring that of the D3 and Sega partnership that spawned new games firm 3D Ages, Sega will make games from its back catalogue for the big black box. The partner for the Xbox remakes will be Cool Network Entertainment of Japan.

Platforms to be considered include Saturn, MegaDrive, Master System, GameGear and Dreamcast, as well as various arcade platforms.



It is also expected that the Sega games chosen will be playable online through the Xbox live gaming service. Exactly which games are chosen will be interesting, though the online possibilities for Sega’s back catalogue are endless.

pues... leyendo eso me caben dos interpretaciones: una muy buena y otra bastante menos buena.

la muy buena? que van a coger MUCHOS juegos "clasicos" y revampearlos en 3D y online para la X (seria IM-PRESIONANTE)

la menos buena? que esten montando algo como lo que empezaron para dreamcast...disponibilidad para xbox y online de LOS JUEGOS CLASICOS TAL COMO ESTAN.

Como que para lo segundo ya hay 29839284324 emuladores y portes... ya se que respaldado por sega y tal es garantia de calidad...pero no deja de ser presentar como nuevo algo que ya esta bastante "datado" (mal usando la expresion literal inglesa).

Espero que sea la primera noticia, y que vayan cayendo cositas...un afterburner para empezar, un golden axe despues, no olviden el spike out (3D remake del streets of rage), el nuevo outrun...y mas cosas que podrian poner
