Rockstar said "we thought we would let you have a quick glance at CJ outside the Los Santos convention center, which bears more than a passing resemblance to the home of E3." That is, of course, the Los Angeles Convention Center where I was less than two weeks ago. In the background (at the left), I am almost 100% sure it is the Los Angeles City Hall building.
