Nueva "solucion" para los afectados por el Silent Update

Bueno me he encontrado con esto en vagos. Y despues de que lo de las actualizaciones no me funcionara, y que no me funciona ningun XGD3 desde ayer estoy probando este método.

Os copio el post exacto del compañero de vagos:
"Lo acabamos de probar ahora mismo por un hilo que vimos en otro foro y FUNCIONA, os explico:
A mi vecino se le marco ayer la consola con la dichosa actualizacion, reflasheamos, se volvio a meter al live y se le debio volver a marcar, (tonto por su parte) Entonces como en mi consola tenia unos juegos instalados pusimos mi HDD y VAYA sorpresa, los xgd3 funcionan!. Hicimos varias pruebas instalando los juegos en el HDD de la consola afectada y no, no funcionaba, solo funcionan si instalan los juegos en un HDD que no haya sido afectado por la actualizacion y lo ponen en consolas afectadas, ya eh probado los demas juegos y todos funcionan a la perfeccion. en definitiva hemos cambiado mi disco duro a la suya y funcionan todos los juegos, seguramente sea que se instale un archivo binario oculto que no podamos ver, en definitiva, probad cambiando la memoria de la xbox.
Ya hemos probado jugar en consola afectada sin el disco duro y sigue marcando "disco no compatible" sa solucion fue poner algun XGD3 con un HDD que no haya sido afectado por la actualizacion!.

Tambien probamos en poner el HDD afectado en la consola sin actualizacion y si funcionan los XGD3

Yo ahora mismo lo estoy probando, instalando el skyrim en un pen drive que acabo de formatear en la xbox, y que supongo que no está afectado, ya que cuando la conecté al live solo tenia el disco duro, que ahora está quitado. En un rato comento mis resultados, que ya soy bastante excéptico, no creo que funcione, pero quiero probar...
Y como lo de las actualizaciones a mi tampoco me ha funcionado, y a muchos otros sí, lo comparto para ver si a otros les sirve. Espero que no esté repetido, no lo he visto por eso lo posteo.

Pero bueno, en resumen, dice que el "archivo" que nos impide jugar está en el disco duro también.
Y que si metes un HDD con juegos XGD3 ya instalados en una xbox NO MARCADA, funciona en la xbox MARCADA, porque de alguna forma engaña a la xbox.
Así que ya tenemos un buen sitio por donde coger a este problema...

Yo he probado quitando mi disco duro, conectando un pen drive, formateandolo al formato xbox, instalando skyrim en él pero nada... sigue tirando el error de no compatible. Supongo que la xbox infectada, infecta tambien a todos los pen drives que formatea...

Vamos que si teneis un vecino con xbox, y no la tiene marcada, pedirle que os cambie el disco duro xD

Basicamente lo que se ahce es que se copian los updates de juegos XGD3 que necesites jugar a la caché del disco duro de la consola y aparentemente funciona magicamente, probado por mi pero solo con el MW3

eso de la "unica solucion" es una tonteria...
Porque a unos les funciona, a otros no, a unos con unos juegos, a otros con otros...
A mi personalmente ese "truco" no mefunciona con ninguno de los 4 XGD3 que tengo.
Tienes razón, no es a prueba de fallos, pero al menos es el método que tiene mas posibilidades y si revisas los foros y chat, es que a la mayoría le va.
Prueba borrando primero la cache del disco antes de hacer el procedimiento, a mi a la primera no me funcionó, borré el caché instalé el TU de MW3 y funcionó.

Tambien me funciona ya el Skyrim con este método.
Probablemente no sea mucho, pero se le ve mas futuro que a culquier otro método, al menos mientras se encuentra una solución

Ya ya he probado a formatear la cache y nada... he metido en cache, todos los TU que hay en la página http://www.xbuc.net/ tanto para el skyrim, como para gow3,mw3 y ACRevelations y nada... con ninguno tira. Parece que soy al unico que no le va ni un puto juego con este metodo... si al menos m fuera el skyrim..

y como se meten en la cache esos TU? es como cuando metes los demos atravez de un pendrive?

Parece ser que es el metodo que estan dando hasta que salga algo mas robusto por parte de c4eva.

En la pagina del team-xecuter han puesto esto:
The recent silent DAE update stopped all AP2.5 / XGD3 backups from booting. Until a solid solution is released, here is a simple workaround.

For this example we are going to use MW3.

1. Get a USB flash drive, At least 1GB in size and format it (FAT)

2. Insert into Xbox and goto memory devices. Select USB and configure it as a storage device.

3. Download the this MW3 Title Update. Click here.

4. Download Horizon (Great game modding app btw – JTAG / Glitchers should be using the shit out of this – you can use other apps but this is my tool of choice). Click here

5. Select Tools > Device Explorer

6. Plug in USB device to PC

7. Device will be detected. Select Inject File

8. Load the the MW3 TU that you downloaded.

9. Connect the USB stick to your Xbox. Restart and boot your MW3 backup.

Notes: You may have to delete the system cache after every time you do a fresh boot of the game. But hey, it works.

bueno ami me trabajan todos lo sjuegos menos mw3 y assasin creed hermandad, pero el que me importa es el cod mw3 pero lo que quiero sabes es que si ago lo de update por usb y me llegara a funcionar (no me a funcionado) si lo conecto a live se vuelve a cagar y se regresa el mensaje de disco no compatible?
y que pasa si compro el original jalara bien? y si lo gravo en el hdd y meto la copia servira la copia?

Un disco original NUNCA va a darte problemas, eso es así, si instalas el original e intentas iniciar con la copia no creo que consigas nada ya que la consola verifica el disco antes de comenzar a cargar desde el HDD, ademas de que los XGD3 bloqueados son instalables en el HDD pero no jugables, así que estamos en las mismas :p
ahora que pasa si logro que funcione con la solucion del usb y update, si me vuelvo a meter a live se caga y vuelve el mensaje?

en teoria no deberia si ya as metido ya la actualizacion.

a probarlo, ojala funcione en live :D por lo menos hasta que junte el dinero para comprarlo xD
No puedo creer que botara 2 discos pensando que el juego estaba malo... y resulta que era por culpa de mi disco duro... se lo quite y el juego me corrio sin dramas, espero que se encuentre una solucion para eliminar esta actualización oculta.
