"Japanese Xbox 360 fans should be delighted to hear that they will be getting more Idolmaster goodness. Famitsu reveals Namco Bandai will release a follow-up titled Idolmaster: Live For You!.

It's not exactly a sequel, since the gameplay mechanics have changed quite a bit. In the original, players were a manager for the idol group and scheduled everything from training lessons to stage performances. The drawback was they could perform poorly if you slack off in their training. Now, that's not necessary. In Idolmaster: Live For You, you only need to choose which idols you want on stage, coordinate their costumes and select a favorite song. Then, sit back. Like the original, you can take pictures during the performance, too.

Idolmaster: Live For You! will be packaged with an anime DVD, though likely not related to the ongoing anime series. Namco Bandai has not set a release date yet for Japan."
