New PSX Systems for Japan - Rhoam
Sony of Japan today revealed plans to release two new models of the PSX - DESR-5100 and the DESR-7100. The DESR-5100 will offer a 160 MB hard drive, while the beefier DESR-7100 will offer a 250 GB hard drive. Both systems will offer DVD recording, the ability to browse the PlayStation bulletin board system, 50 or so DVD menus, DVD+RW and DVD-RW compatibility and -- of course -- the ability to play PlayStation 2 games.
